um,lessee...today for instance, eric bedard goes 8, 4 hits, couple walks, 1 run, and 12 k's...common now, cut me some slack...been so used to them losing i'm in heaven right now, much like you were at the end of last year ..

i will repeatedly admit they are playing fantasticaly, better than many many teams. but i just cannot see them keeping it up for the whole year, i do expect them to be in the playoff race tho until the very last weeks of the season

I'm glad to see that Baltimore and ChiSox are doing well but until they actually make it to the playoffs and then somehow win a series I will always say that they arent as good as the Bosox or the yankees, regardless of their records

Chisox hasnt made the playoffs since 2000, when they were swept by seattle
Baltimore hasnt made the playoffs since 1997, when they lost to the Indians in the ALCS

update...bedard tonight, 7 innings, 3 hits, 1 walk and 1 run...and this is following cabrera lastnight 8 innings, 3 hits 2 walks , no runs and 12 k's...and there's rumblings in charm city of todd helton showing up...o the power...

i could have shut us down in the 9th tonight, we could have got thrown out rounding 3rd on a homerun.

and you are wrong, his errors have cost them at least one game that i can think of. and until either of our teams are in front of baltimore id say we both arent playing well enough

don't worry, 2/3 of our starting outfield is on the dl as well as our starting catcher and most dominating pitcher...going into boston tonight for four after we got swept by detroit...i don't see anyone running away with it..

Your slugger is starting to go back to the shiitty hitter he is. The average has dipped below .250, and it took him a big weekend to get to 15 HR and 41 RBI in his 300 AB. I predict 9 HR and 35RBI in the second half of the season with a final average of .245.

Lets talk about a real slugger now... Manny Ramirez up to .275 22HR 80RBI at the break. That's my boy.
