**For those of you wondering about racing + showing**

I sent one of the organizers an e-mail asking about when judging would be and I forgot that it will be publically judged by ourselves (and other show participants). So anyways, here's the response I got, heh:

We can't control when people decide to fill out their ballots, so some participants may vote while your vehicle is absent from the show field. If racing is more important and you don't care if you win a trophy in the show, then by all means, make some runs. Personally, it would not be worth the extra $25 to me to make one or two passes and lose out in the show. A few members of our club have tried it and are always disappointed. One member is doing it this year. Two years ago a member of ours quit the club because he raced all day and did not win a trophy in the show.

However, it's your money, and Atco will be happy to take it from you if you decide to do both.

So suffice to say, I will be showing that day, then I'll be back at the track for T&T the following Saturday

[edit] Looking closer, I just noticed that there is also T&T this saturday - maybe I'll go then with anyone else that may want to go...

ehh he's overdramatizing it.. you can definitely race and show, but you will probably only be able to get two max time trials in before the race begins. Worth the $$?? diff story that's up to whoever does bolth

Yeah I know - I think I'm going to show my car first... if there's time between the judging and the start of the race, maybe I'll be able to get 1 or 2 runs in - otherwise I'll run the car the following weekend.

BTW, I just had a pep-talk with my liver this morning - we're ready to rock for this weekend

yea what time is the "meet" at the hotel to caravan to atco? i think i might be able to make an appearance

ok cool thanks. THat means ill proly have to leave my house at like 6:30-7 but thats cool. I take 1 road to get to the hotel =)
and Atco is like 20min or so south of the hotel right?
