My New RSX Type S A-Spec

I picked up my 2004 Acura RSX Type S with the A-Spec package this past Monday. Loving every minute so far.

I know its probably a silly question asking someone with a stock suspension 2001 GT(worn out struts and all......but is the handling alot better?

I was hoping you had Eibachs so you could compare the two cars more closely.....but anyway....have you had the chance to throw her into some corners?

From driving my friend's stock Type S it seem to hadle better than my old GAGT. If the stock suspension on the Type S is not good enough. A JDM 22mm Type R front and rear sway bar can change that

Arctic, personally I would put an Injen CAI and Greddy cat back exhust on there. You will love it when that thing scream at 5,900 RPM all the way up to redline.

My buddy had the Acura RSX Type S.... it handles very very well. The suspension is taught and you can really dive into corners with it and come out much better than the GAGT - which would just overwhelm the front tires and slide off the road.

The car is so light and the 6spd is so close that you will find it like the classic Honda 'go-kart' sensation... All it needs is torque!!!!

I've thrown it into a couple of corners at 35 MPH, it just sticks with the A-Spec springs and shocks on there. There is little to no body roll in the corners, its really a fun car to drive.

Everyone thats been in it has said it feels like we are going much faster than we were. It just feels really sporty driving around in it.

i drove a few type-s and regular rsx's while my car was getting recall work done and those fockers can handle. i can only imagine some upgraded suspension work, what it will feel like.

It has begun, mod bug got me good with this car, .

I have a new version of the Injen SRI with 3" tubing and a larger filter element as well as an injen oil cap currently in route to my home via UPS. Probably next step is either a DC Sports header or a Hondata #4 reflash ECU. Ahh let the fun begin.

Lookin good, it's amazing how much a tight suspension can make you feel like you're hauling.
