yeah after looking at the pics I agree with that front grill Mazda comment.

There are definitely similiarities between the sonata and the camry but come on there are similaritites between MANY cars. What are we going to do, analyze them all also?!?! I'v never heard so much talk about the companies stealing ideas from other companies before. I realize it happens, but eh, whatever.

Thanks for the insult. Your maturity is showing. Because someone or several people do not agree with you on the way something looks, they are idiots? OK then.

They all do it. It seems to get worse with time. Pretty soon only difference will be the drivetrain and the badges.

No, it's the ridiculous statement you made which you do not seem to grasp:

Quote:
Toyota stole the idea from Hyundai and Honda for the looks of the new Camry.
And as I explained, that is not possible within the short period of time the Sonata was revealed to the revealing of the new Camry. Look at when this thread dates back: May 30, 2005. Now if you said they looked similar, I wouldn't see an issue. But you are claiming that they stole the design. That is foolish. This design was finalized way before Hyundai revealed the Sonata design.

^ Ridgeline just won Motor Trend's truck of the year... something that was never given to the Avalanche. Ridgeline > Avalanche

Come off it..nobody should be comparing those two trucks...they are so far away from each other......

The Avalanche is a full size truck with a V8 and ladder frame. The Ridgeline is a minivan underpinned vehicle with a V6. Not to say that its not a truck but they are so far off from each other. It would be like comparing the Subaru Baja to either of them....

1: Off topic

2: It's a unibody design with a V6. Why do people have this idea that a unibody can't be as capable as a truck frame?

I didnt say that...I said, "Not to say its not a truck"....alot of people say that its not a real truck though....BUT it WOULD be like saying, "Oh I bought a new truck....a Subaru Baja".....it just sounds funny when you look at what it is. If using a unibody was as good for a "real" truck....$50 says that Toyota would be unveiling the new Tundra at the NAIAS next month built on the Sienna platfoem. Just kidding BUT it would be the equivalent.

What Toyota probably would do is release a new truck that is based on a unibody designed slotted between the Tacoma and Tundra to test the waters.

Newbie, you are making a very bad rep for yourself right now. You DO look like a retard.

His reputation on here isn't bad at all. Might want to read/research before you type and bash people. Another thing, use spellcheck so you don't look like an idiate. <--- clue
