50K mile maintenance question

Hey guys, I'm about to hit 50k miles. At this oil change, what do you all suggest I get done or have looked at? I had the transmission fluid flushed at 30K, and my fuel filter changed at 20k. What do you all suggest? Any help would be great.

Thanks,
Jeff

Air filter, tire rotation, spark plugs, wires, brakes, etc.

There isn't any major things at 50k.

You're about due for another fuel system service. Your coolant is rated to last 150K miles but I would do it every flush it every 50K. After awhile Dexcool starts to get clumpy. Also, check alignment and serpentine belt. Have them check the LIM gasket for leakage. My dealer said generous motors would cover 50% of the cost if the vehicle is under 50K miles.

Wait, GM would cover 50% of the cost after warranty?

My LIM started leaking around 80K miles. At the time, I ask the dealer since this was a known "feature" with GAs would the general pick up any part of the tab. He said they would if the car had less than 50K miles. My service manager may just have some pull at GM so I'm not sure if this act of charity is a standard thing at every dealer.

You are lucky. A lot of people had to pay the full price.
