im interested in donating my car for the boosted application. I don't really live within 3 hours though, but i hardly drive my car as it is because of the transmission, so a transmission rebuild would be beneficial to me as well.

I'm over in Toledo and i would consider doing something like this but i would want to stay in the 2000-3000 price range. What kind of work would we be talking about? Also i want some type of liabilty if my engine blows after your work is done i would like this to be under warranty as long as it was related to the work you did.

Unfortunately the boosted car is easily gonna be double the $2-3000 price range.

I'm sure it would be worth it too, but I don't have all the funds it's gonna take to build the boosted car and keep it going. If you haven't already, get ahold of Milzy and let him know that you're interested.

just kind of curious, any updates with this car? have you been using it for the new products youve been putting out?

yes, we built the stainless exhaust last weekend on his car, and installed some gauges. The transmission mount has been in the works for some time now, and we'll have even more parts available soon. Sorry i've neglected to post updates, I've just been swamped lately. We're still deciding if we should announce the person yet, or keep it secret longer Any opinions?

Man im looking at some of the ages of people who are willing to donate their cars and 3 to 6 G's for this project...20, 21, 22 years old....my question is where do young kids get such money? lets say 3 G's for the lower grade engine work....and with all the power and money invested into a sponsorship car, they must have another car for daily driving....either im going to kill my guidance counselor for not telling me about drug dealing before i went to college, or my parents are donefor for even having me and taking away the opportunity for me to be born into a rich family where my parents will pay for everything.

P.S. sorry i definitly think too much when im on my lunch break.

some people here are in programs with the military where they receive paychecks while in college. my bro in law did this with the navy and bought and fully modded an 01 frontier while in college, then sold it and bought a brand new titan. there are other ways besides drug dealing and nice parents (altho we do have some people reppin a bit of those too)

also there are those of us that work almost full time while going to school full time, which pays off if you know how to save up.

The military pay isn't all that great but it definitely helps...that and going to school and working full time adds up too. Plus i work two jobs when im out of school, and i get paid really well valeting cars as well. That and I save the hell out of my money too. Some of us aren't spoiled.

Any progress on the sponsorship cars? Also I see on the site that L67 swaps have been added, but no love for the grand am's. Is a 4t65e still in the future of the grand am's?
