CUSTOMGAGT2000SEDAN Still kinda new, but learning
Lightbulb

just reading your email luked . way ahead of you guys did that yesturday. a bit of advice from my parents lawyer. so who are the ga owners who have ants in there pants and still buying them at 240. one just sold . three more on there. don ' t forget they do not manuafacture them .
so some one esle will sell them some day. and if both places are still selling them one will give way in pricing. plus we have not even actually seen them on a car yet.
plus you have to know how to buy or deal with ebay.. i learned a ton since the beginning of ebay. follow ebay like a religion. about 100,000.00 cdn worth of buys. many types collectibles of all kinds .
read my bio. you have to go to ebay meetings etc as i do . research study your sellers a ton . i spend days doing reach on each seller. that's why i win 90% or higher of my auctions.

change in price has actually turned away some buyers that were dead

your pricing or discount that will be worthwhile for both parties?

Thats rediculous I can understand prices going up a bit now that they know there are people out there who will buy them. But talk about inflation at this rate they will be $500 plus dollars in a month and then to only offer a 5 dollar discount thats doesn't say much about there business savy towards there consumers but I guess each to there own. Hope they go back down in price but until then I guess.

damn bro. Nice judgement! I don't see ya having too many friends.. I was talking price before the email of the price hikes, just cuz yall wanted them. I was talking bout when they were at like 199. And someone mentioned the group buy just to have it lower to 140 or so. Not the 240 Buy it now.

I got my lights in yesterday but haven't had a chance to put them on yet. A few observations about them after looking at them firsthand. It looks like they just took the standard oem lights and put something over parts of it to make it black, looks clean though. The part around where the light goes is still the standard chrome and just reflects the black from the other parts of it, so it won't negatively affect light output. The best thing about them is that the clear corner looks pretty good, in person it looks clear not white and overly bright like it does in the picture on ebay. To sum it up, I am pretty satified with what I see and they were worth 170 bucks I paid for them, I don't know about 240 though, hopefully they will go back down for you guys. I will try to post pics when I get them on unless someone else beats me to it.

How about some pictures before you install them? Front, back, side, top, bottom, and a bunch more of the front from every angle.

I ordered myself a set the other day and can't wait to get them in. If they look like crap, oh well and I sell them to someone else...

I get sick and tired of all the haters b*tching about cost and "kids making them in their basement". Simple business is supply and demand. They jacked up prices cuz demand is high. Yes, the price will come back down, but that means people will have to be patient and wait for that. I've been dying for new headlights for years and wasn't patient enough to wait on the price to come down...

Everyone who complains these products that they know nothing about yet is only hurting our community that likes to see companies attempting to put out new products for our cars. No wonder everyone gives up on trying to make stuff for us...everyone complains and no one puts up the money.

I will do that too, but I won't be able to get them up on here until tomorrow since they are at home and I am not. I wish I would have took some yesterday, they look alot better than they do in the ebay picture. The headlight is not as dark looking and the reflector is more subtle IRL.

post a few more times for somthing you have no interest in cause you dont have the car.. ive been around here a while and know a few things.. i personaly was tryin a group buy for everyone else... i wont ever buy these as i have my own setup that is superior.. so instead of posting useless info like yourself, im actualy trying to help out the other GA, note i said GA not alero, members get a new product at its ORIGINAL asking price.. wow, didnt know that was asking so much. and for other non-site care member to post his peace was pointless...

i call it like i see it, and

Why are people always crying about money? So they work out to about $250 after shipping... so what. Thats about what one stock headlight will cost you from a dealership. Not bad if you ask me. I say if you don't want to spend the money, then don't modd your car... and shut up and let the rest of us do what we want with ours. I was sure someone would bring up the arguement "I can make something myself for less money". They always do. However most of the home made stuff looks like garbage IMO, because they don't have the tools or expertise to replicate things like the lens with the clear reflector that these lights have. They simply can't do it and make it look good. I say spend the money to get something good and then, if you wanna be unique, mod that. Thats my plan anyway.

Meh, I realize its a new item, but I think people have the right to get ****ed off, and if the seller wouldnt have had their head up their arse, they wouldnt have started out so low to begin with. Check out the market, take a look at what else is available for grand ams, go from there. Dont tangle it out in front of us at 150 or whatever and then proceed to jack up the price.

If the price were to settle at around 250, I would believe that is reasonable, but they should have started at around that range anyway.

By the way, did I miss a memo? By subscribing to premium membership, I am granted holy rights to bash others and reign supreme? BOY HOWDY!!

Aaron, my 20 inch wheels look fantastic, and youre ride is NOT intimidating... ha HA! Yes! Wait, almost forgot.... R1CER!!!!

again, this wouldnt be an issue if it was till 170 BIN.. $30 bones is alot to me, it raised, thats the problem.. NOT a sole complained at $170.. so its cause of the price hike.. if it was still 170, no bit ching.. or if it woulda came out at 199 bin, then there wouldnt a been an issue.. the issue isnt necessaraly the money, its the fact that they raised it! and thats 98% of what it comes down to in the end..

and Aaron, there is more self satisfaction w/ DIY stuff... regrardless, all my DIY stuff in my mind is one off and of course love it...
