Metallman, I've never heard boston speakers. My dad has an ht system with boston speakers and they sound amazing. If their car audio is anything like their home audio, I'm sure it's awesome. I really like the design on the coax's. Does the tweeter have a separate connection from the driver? That's awesome because you can have coax speakers while running them active.

I've always wanted an avic-n1. How is it for sound processing? I'm sure the nav comes in handy like woa.

Also, amazing door pannels. I love it. I just stuck my comps in on top of the pannel without fiberglass and called it good.

How do you like those Pioneer Rev 6x9's? I've heard very good things about them, but I've never heard them myself. People say they have the most amazing low end. I think if I ever went with rear fill (which I don't think I will) I'd go with those.

Overall, I like the system. I don't care if it's messy (nobody should) it's all about the way it sounds.

I have yet to remove the line that runs up the door panels and vinyl it. I am to busy working on everyone else's cars to even finish mine. Hopefully i can knock that out sometime soon though. I think if i don't like the pods after i vinyl that strip i will build something new and sell those pods on here or ebay. I like how you kept that line and still kept the pocket all the way up the door. It was a very nice fiberglass job. I might even just fiberglass the hole door or just make some new ones. I really have some serious thinking to do. haha

Mendoza:yeah thats kinda what i was thinking too. put your bass driver low and your midbass just a hair above it up the line. i wasnt trying to be mean or anything i just couldnt remember how you had them done. i only say them for a few seconds. i know you guys are extremely bussy around there. speaking of which i need to make an appointment for my alarm.

hifi: its funny you say that you have only heard there home stuff. i have only heard there car stuff. it sounds amazing. i can hear things in songs and make out lyrics that i never could before. there sq is just crazy. you can mount the tweeter separate, i just like the look of them better with the tweeter on the woofer. it doesnt effect the sq to much because there on a bridge. the woofer performs the same weather its on there or not.
the n1 is great. i cant believe everything it will tell me about my car. and the processor is the best i have ever seen on a headunit.
the rev 6x9s i bought before i could afford my subs. they hit like a 10. well maybe not that hard but they are the hardest hitting 6x9 i have ever heard. that kevlar cone does wonders. but now that i have subs i want more mids and highs from them. hence why i am thinking about dropping them and pickin up the bostons.
thanks for not giving me sh*t about the install. its just something i havent got around to yet, and its not something that i am really worried about. you can tell that i took my time with the kicker amp. that one looks good. the rest, eh some day i will get to it.

iirc it was $300 for rotors, but that might be just the front.

Could you notice a difference when you started using royal purple? I think I might try it on my next oil change...
