It defintly make sense though...think about it, when you buy a new car they say not to really open it up for the first 500-1,000 miles.

yeah that was the example i was given. even if there is no truth to it, there are too many people that think there is for me to take a chance on f*cking up a $300 pair of 6x9's.

so here is a great little update. its actually a quesion also. i just moved into a apt on friday. i have a garage for the car but it was late and i was lazy. i had my car alarm on and the car was literally about 10 feet form my bedroom window. so when i went outside the following morning there was 3 eggs on the car. alarm didnt go off, but yep i got egged. from the angle they were thrown its obvious the eggs came from the apt behind us, the b*stards threw them over the fence and my car was first in line. lucky me. anyways one hit my winsheild, one my roof, and the last on the passenger side door up by the roof and winshield just above the window. and both took paint off. so on saterday i called everone i knew that had a gun, went over to all there houses put them in my car, then went back to the apt an carried them in one at a time. in broad daylight, and slamming my car door every time, hoping those b*stards would look over and be like holy sh*t. i wouldnt have done that if it had not took paint off, i was a little p*ssed off to say the least. anyway is there something you can buy for a dei alarm that can detect a egg hitting the car? that sounds dumb, but i dont want to be ultra paranoid about it. i have parked in the garage the past 2 nights, but i shouldnt feel like i have to. if anyone has any suggestions please let me know. thanks!

It actually took paint off? I have been egged twice and it didnt take the paint off. I of course washed it right away but the eggs where probably on there for a good 6-8 hours.

he has asserted his dominance over competing males with the loud masculine sound form his exaust system, Females searching for a potential mate will be driven away by weaker exaust systems and attracted to his SLP.

yep took the paint right off. down to metal. i figured the MAX time it could have been on there was about 8 hours, but i am guessing it was about 4 cause my brother, who i also moved in with, was outside smoking at about 4:30am and he saw nothing.

WOW! those must have been some genetically engineered eggs! Ive been egged probably 3+ times, each time the car was baking in the sunlight the next morning. the WORST that happened to the GA was this like crackling in the paint that u could barely tell, and 2 dents.

i hate people
