you can work on the 60ft and get it to a 2.1, 2.3 is a little high and 2.1 on street tires is obtainable. That will get you to a 14.9, but for your mods you should be much faster. Do you have a scan tool? Are you seeing any KR, running too rich, too lean? Something is a miss, you shoudl be much faster than that.

I think its just his launches, once he gets the 60's down to 2.1's he will be seeing 14.9's.

he has asserted his dominance over competing males with the loud masculine sound form his exaust system, Females searching for a potential mate will be driven away by weaker exaust systems and attracted to his SLP.

that was one of my worst reaction times. my average reaction was about .3. i have no scan tool, perhapes i should buy one in the near future. i dont smell like i am running rich, so lean maybe. would that be because i have not done any mods to my fuel system, but i have done a lot to get more air in the engine?

coupe, does the time start when i cross the light? i am confussed. by better launchs what do you mean? better reaction time, more traction what?

The time dosent start till your car starts moving.
What i mean is is how you launch your car, like how you start getting the car to move. Hmmmm ok example.
What i do when i race with my street tires:
Hold down brake
Hold gas down till my rpms are between 2K and 2.5K rpms.
When light gets to the last yellow light i let go of the brake and "feather" the gas till i feel the tires hook up and then i put the gas all the way down to the floor.
Enjoy the ride.
This all happens VERY quickly.

When i race with my DR's:
Hold down brake
Hold gas down till my rpms are between 2K and 2.5K rpms.
When light gets to the last yellow light i let go of the brake and stomp the gas all the way to the floor.
enjoy the ride

If your raceing with street tires try to stay out of the water and get them to turn at least once, you wanna get them somewhat warm.

Rand, he's got heads, P&P UIM/LIM TB and all that. So it should get to mid 14s

Keep working on your launching and get a scanner to see what teh car is doing. Your fueling should be alright since you have the DHP. My car was a little rich with the DHPv1.0 file, so with your mods it should be about right.

Damn i didnt realize that, so yeah mid 14's should be very doable. You would think even with a bad launch he should still be seeing at least 15 flat.

Hey metallman56, what is your elevation?

You would be suprised at the elevation difference in just a 20 minute drive.
I have no idea really. Most tracks i go to you can ask what their elevation is.

Damn thats the same as the tracks i race at, hmmmmm

To many variables to really pinpoint whats wrong.
Things like:
elevation
heat
humidity
to cold
condition of the track
headwind
your launches
something mechanical that is hindering you (like 1-2 shifts, i figured out how to beat that )
etc. the list just keeps going

There is no exact science, just gotta try everything.

Yea, that should help since you can make changes to the program and do things like scan for KR, o2 voltage for a rough idea on things. I don't think they flashed over your DHP, do your fans still come on for 2-3mins at key off?
