pit has been struggling here as of late. if they win against cincy it will be huge for them. if not they will be looking at the wildcard.
i think i am going to change my mind about the colts. there going 19-0 this year! i think seattle isnt as great as i thought, and struggle too much against teams that are as good as them. the colts are far better. the chargers arnt going to stop them either. that game is going to be a shoot out. and i cant remember manning loosing a shootout. the rest of the teams they will mow over. and playing 3 dome post season games. who is going to stop them? the only team in the nfl that can beat the colts right now is. . . the cotls. game of the week: dal @ nyg. havent made that pick yet. i only missed 2 last week. and this week looks alot easier. |

Woohoo!! Yeah, totally Colts all the way...... all the years that I stood by while they sucked to no end is finally paying off. I don't know about 19-0 but I sure wouldn't complain if it happened. They just seem unstoppable.
And Pittsburgh made some screwed up plays last night. I think what really lost it for them was the onside kick at the start of the second half. That pretty much lost the game for them right there. What a stupid play. Oh well... bring on the Titans... can we say 12-0?? ![]() |

See I'm still bitter over the colts running off in the middle of the night.
I think Seattle or Jacksonville can still ruin that 16-0 dream I'd rather have Dallas win, but I think NY will pull that one out.

a colts fan in calf? now i have seen it all! juts kidding man! glad to see they have support on thre west coast. call me crazy but didnt the pats do something like that against the colts?
the only reason i say they will go 19-0 is because i dont think anyone can stop them. and when you ask someone that thinks they will be beat, and ask them who will beat the colts, they have no answer. i will not be surprised if they loose, but i will be even less surprised if they dont. i hope that made sence. |

I am originally from Indianpolis... Nap Town homegrown. Lived there for 19 years. I've been a huge Colts fan since I was in diapers (okay maybe not quite THAT long). I hear what you're saying. I will not be surprised if they loose one, but will be even less suprised if they don't. I hope they don't but they sure seem unstoppable. I was really worried about the Cincy and the Pitt game..... but now those are now W's who knows... maybe they can pull this one off... SD will be tough as will Seattle but I think we can handle them. It would be so fantasic to even go to the Super Bowl (they should have went that year they lost to the Steelers in the AFC championship in 95 I think it was) but I would be estatic if they go all the way. GO HORSE!!!!
Sorry that the Colts left Baltimore........................... nah, no I'm not! ![]() |

They'll walk over SD, won't even be a game. I really think Seattle will give them a run for thier money.

Ok, here we go...
1. 99GApunk, you couldn't be more right about the playoff wins. They are really all that matter. Pittsburgh always has a tough time with the Pats no matter what. 2. Metallman56, after watching the Colts last night, they are certainly the best team in the NFL, but no one is ever unstoppable. San Diego and Jacksonville both have a shot at beating them and the Seattle game is pretty much a preview of the Super Bowl in my eyes. Also, I would go with the Giants. They are due for a win and will be gunning for the Cowboys. 3. highwayprowlerz, the onsides kick at the start of the half wasn't a stupid move. It was Bill Cowher trying to do something out of the ordinary to get the Colts flustered and confused. The way that works is that if it works, he looks like a genious. If it doesn't, he looks like an ass. The latter happened. He knew his offense wasn't producing much, so he wanted to let the special teams try to make a big play. If it didn't work (which it didn't) then he was relying on the strong defense to take care of it. In the end, the Colts are simply the better team, but you can't blame a coach for trying stuff like that in big games. 4. A question for everyone... Do you think Dungy will rest his starters the last few games to get them ready for the playoffs, or because of his sense of history do you think he'll play through the season to go for the 16-0??? It's a very interesting question. If he pulls the starters in the last 2-3 games, the Colts have a VERY good shot at losing to the Chargers, (especially) the Seahawks, or even the Cardinals for that matter. What do you think?

a co-worker told me today that he heard dungy say that once they clinch home field advantage, he will pull the starters. i have mixed feelings. i uderstand that if someone goes down in the o it will be a huge loss, especially if its maninng. and the goal for ever team ever is to win the super bowl, not go undefeated. but to be the second team ever to do it, well you have to take the risk of not getting a ring. would i pull my starters? i would simply leave it up to the team. if they wanted me to leave them in, i would. if they wanted me to pull them, i would. i think it should be there call, no one elses.
i dont think the giants or seahawks are as good as i thought. after some thinking today in the nfc i like the bucs. and if you think thats dumb just wait till you hear this. i doubt atlanta will make the playoffs. although i will take the giants over the seahawks if it comes down to it. indy is the usc of the nfl. good luck trying to beat them. and dont give me the notre dame should have beat usc crap. because had notre dames speacial team unit not been so lucky, they would not had been in the game. |

I really think it should be up to the players, too, but unfortunately that's not really how it works at that level. Whatever Dungy says, goes. Manning has started every game for them for 6 or 7 years now. I just don't see how Dungy can justify pulling him or Edgerin James or any one of the receivers. I really think any of them not playing would mess up their rhythm and momentum. Basically, pulling them would be the smartest dumb move ever.

who cares about going undefeated, save your players.
how did the last undefeated team do in the playoffs? oh and after 10 weeks of no one winning, the office pool was split by 3 people last week, all because two games that went into OT you would expect to be decided by field goals... actually came down to touchdowns in the game of the week mentioned above, i pick dallas. i will be at the stadium sunday watching the mediocre patriots play the J-E-T-S JETS JETS JETS... haha fock the jets i hate em

i too am leaning tword the cowboys. but the giants are great at home.
the pats should kill the jets. and no offense but i think i might hate the pats as much as you hate the j-e-t-s jets jets jets. and its not because they have won 3/4 super bowls. its b/c they played the bears in super bowl XX. ever since then i have hated the pats. sorry man. if it makes you feel any better i also hate the packers, vikings, skins, saints, raiders, ravens, browns, and jags. some more then others some for no good reason. thats just me. i dont mean to **** any one off or anything, again its just me. and if you hate the bears thats fine by me too. were all americans here, unless your a packer fan, and we can all get along. |

i dont know why i hate the pats for that. its just that they were in the way of our vicotry. i grew up hating them for no good reason and it just kinda stuck. i am sure i am not the only one who has ever done somthing like that.
also if my cubs and sox go down the red sox are my team. mainly cause i hate the yankees so the best way to show that is to like the red sox. |

I'm really psyched about the colts... I couldn't believe the game against Pitsburgh. I really thought it would be a close game, and I figured the colts would win by one touch down in the end. It ended up just being a bloodbath.
I really doubted they'd make it threw New England, Cincinatti, and Pitsburgh undefeated. I really felt those 3 teams all had a good shot at stopping us, and we'd loose at least one. Honestly after watching the Cinncinatti game, I think they are the only ones in the NFL that could possibly stop us...they play almost identical to us! We basically won that game because Peyton slowed it down in the 4th quarter and took time off the clock. Peyton is the best quarterback of all time, not just because he can throw 80 yard touchdown passes, because he's the smartest, most competitive player I've ever seen. He knows howto win games. Honestly I feel like if Cinncinati couldn't stop us, who could? I'm not even worried about the Jaguars. We beat 'em once, and the last time we beat them our offense wasn't alive yet. Our defense shut them down, keeping them only to 3 points. And after watching the Seattle/New York game, I don't think Seattle is as tough as they make them out to be. I know for a fact the Giants aren't as good as the Colts, and the Giants only lost that game due to their horrible kicker. San Diego, well we beat them last year, we'll beat 'em again. Only team that can honestly stop us is ourselves. However If we are going to loose, lets get it out of the way. I'd love to have my team be only the 2nd team of all time to go undefeated, however I'd hate to not see them make the superbowl after the best season in their 20 year history in indianapolis. Wouldn't it suck to see them go undefeated then just choke in the playoffs? I gotta admit... I'm allready sweating it. |
