Most guys in the NFL watch film when they're not working out. Not that big of a deal. Peyton Manning is one hell of a quarterback, yes, but he's really not that impressive physically. The man looks like a duck when he scrambles.

HAHA! So true. Of course, he's got good size and an amazing arm, but scrambling is one thing he needs to work on.

Being a perfectionist QB in the NFL isn't always a good thing. It causes you to think too much. That leads to mistakes. I understand a lot of the things that happen to quarterbacks can't be helped. Brett Favre is looking like he needs to retire this year with all the INT's, but most of those are simply because his team sucks and he's trying to do it all himself. I respect Peyton Manning for his abilities and what he has done elsewhere ("CUT THAT MEAT!!! DECAF!!!" ), but he needs to just let go and play the game sometimes instead of thinking it through.

#1. Indy is playing at the RCA Dome
#2. Pitsburgh can't handle crowd noise
#3. Indy allready beat them once this season
#4. Indy is fully rested, and practiced, Pitsburgh is not.
#5. "I'm not happy to be going back there" - Ben Rothlisberger
#6. Peyton needs his ring, and he WILL get it this year!

Pitsburgh is going down. Their chances of winning are slim to none.

1. Pittsburgh has proven it plays better on the road.
2. Pittsburgh has been practicing in deafening sound conditions all week.
3. Cincy beat them once this season, too, and look what happened.
4. Indy hasn't played in a month and Pittsburgh is on a roll momentum wise.
5. "Now we're going up to Indy fully loaded. No one's giving us a chance. The pressure is all on them, not on us, because they already beat us once" - Hines Ward
6. Everyone in the NFL needs a ring. Dan Marino still needs a ring, but that's not happening anytime soon.

You are one of those people not giving Pittsburgh a chance. If the Steelers lose, then it'll be a hard-fought game. If they win, I think you'll be rethinking your "slim to none" chances.

Peyton will not get taken out on a cheap shot like Palmer. How you can even think that the outcome of the Cincy/Pitt game wouldn't be any different if Palmer wasn't hurt is beyond me.

I'm not saying Pitt has no chance, and I hope it's a good game, but to say 'look what happened...Cincy beat us before and we beat them, yadayada' is kind of absurd when their starting quarterback gets taken out very early in the game.

Pittsburgh beat Cincy in the regular season, not to mention the fact that the Carson Palmer is 1-4 against the Steelers. Sure, the Bengals lost their starting quarterback, but that doesn't mean he wouldve made the game any different. Ask Troy Polamalu, who ran Palmer's ass over at the goal line when Palmer threw that interception the first time the Steelers beat the Bengals this season. Maybe the score wouldve been 31-24 instead of 31-17, oh well.

Peyton has already shown that he knows how to lose. Carson Palmer is not a football god, and neither is Peyton Manning.

On a side note, Im very proud of Steeler fans. If the president and head coach of the top team in the AFC has to beg their season ticket holders to not sell to Steelers fans, then we're obviously making an impact on the road.

thats not an upset, denver is favored, the higher seed as well. they are supposed to win technically.

im not picking the NE denver game, too close to call, coin flip if you ask me

i did however lay money on Indy (-9 pts), Carolina (+3.5) and im thinking about laying some down on seattle too, but i think that 9 and a half pts is too much

polamalu better get his head on straight, if that game last week was close he single handedly would have blown it.

anyways about the ticket thing.... its the same everywhere. officials always ask not to sell the tickets to the other team. it is known that steeler fans travel well, but if new england or denver ends up going into indy or if pitt ends up going to denver or here, it will be the same thing

...oh and you said 'peyton has already shown that he knows how to lose' well tom brady hasn't not in the playoffs at least im just playin. im not one that assumes because they have won so many playoff games its automatic now... altho i hope it is

I think the game will be closer, no doubt, but all Indy really has to do is shut down pitsburgh's running game....

They are practicing like crazy... Indy's taking their superbowl goal really seriously this year...they've allready proven they are the best team in the NFL, I really don't think the 6th seeded Steelers are going to take them down. They can't take them down, because I don't wanna hear it from My Uncle! Like i said I have family in Clarion PA, which is an hour away from pitsburgh. Theres a little football fued between us and them, ever since the 1996 screw job from the steelers.

Anyway the whole momentum thing is BS... its all in everyone's heads. "We don't need momentum because our guys are used to winning" - Tony Dungy

Oh yeah and I looked at the games that started the streak with pitsburgh... all pretty weak teams. They beat the bears... best defense, but no offense what a suprise. Pit has a good defense and a better offense, the bears little stupid 10-3 isn't going to work on a team with offense. Then you got the vikings. Then the Cleveland SH*Tstains, Then the Detriot Lions. Then they beat Cincy, but Cincy lost their starting quarterback, and they don't have much of a defense right now. I'll be honest, I acctually picked Pitsburgh to beat the Bengals. I'm not at anyway suprised by this.

Pitsburgh is on Momentum from 5 easy wins...

that whole first statement. Every team is like that so don't let that fool you. That being said I still think Indy is the better team. Best team doesn't always win though.

No way they loose by 9.5, I placed a bet on that game. If they loose, it won't be by more than 6

This is quite possibly the dumbest post I've read yet. The Bears have the BEST defense in the league, but the Steelers still scored 21 points on them and only allowed a field goal the whole game until a meaningless TD in the last two minutes. They didn't play all that well against the Vikings, but still held them to three points. They may have played the Browns, but they SHUT THEM OUT 41-0. The Steelers outscored their opponents 80-12 in those three games. The argument about Cincy losing Palmer is old now. The whole rest of the team sucked. That's why they don't have a defense "right now." That's why they lost.

Now let's take a look at who Indy beat to get to 13-0 and home field advantage, shall we? Baltimore, Jacksonville twice, but by only one score each game, Tennessee twice, San Francisco, St. Louis, and Houston twice. They did beat New England and Pittsburgh and barely squeeked by the Bengals, but of those other teams, Jacksonville is the only one that actually has more than six wins. Plus let's not forget the Colts lost to San Diego and Seattle at the end of the season. Say all you want about not having anything to play for, but the Colts were manhandled in those two games.

All this talk isn't worth jack, though. Comparing stats and making predictions have no bearing on Sunday. We'll see what happens. I'm going on vacation for the weekend, so I won't have a chance to report back on this. See you all Monday when I'm sure there will be many happy Steelers fans and many Colts fans left scratching their heads... OUT

Yeah Jim sorgi and the colts second stringers couldn't keep up with Seattle's starters...

Indy hasn't even played seattle as far as I'm concerned.

Where the hell are all the Colts fans at? God damn, this thread is flooded with steeler fans...
