what do I think? personally I think its bad ass! Its Retro, but not as retro as say the mujstang... It looks like an F-body, and realistically had they not gotten rid of the F-body, this is how I could honestly picture a 2006 Camaro looking. I wish they'd bring back a "Bandit" style trans am! But I know that will never happen... from my understanding The Firebird is gone and their are no plans whatsoever to bring back the name.

Anywy one question is burning my mind: is this thing going to have T-tops? They can't bring the camaro back wihout T-tops! I gotta have them too, moonroof just won't do!

i dono i think that chevrolet sign looks like **** in the front, they just need to get away from that. sticks out I don't like that.
Also the wheels and the whole car look a lot like the challenger. I would love to have one, but I don't think that GM mastered the retro as much as Ford did with the mustang. Cool car otherwise.. just wish they would have made it more like the 69.. .been awesome

mom even said that it looks more like a mustang hahah

Really I wouldn't mind what the new camaro looks like as long as they answer to the chargers and new mustangs and soon the challanger. It would be nice for the Trans am to make a come back. I bet it'd looks sic and fawk.

I knew the camaro name would come back....

its ashame that the firebird will never rise from the ashes...of course the way pontiac's been would we really want it back? they'd probably bring it back as a boring looking luxury car with a screaming chicken on the hood, .

Careful guys, if you pat yourselves on the back any harder you'll break your puny little spines.

If GM wouldn't be on the cusp of bankruptcy and if they wouldn't see Ford succeeding with the new Mustang as much as they are this car wouldn't be coming back, period. GM stuck by that 2-3 years ago b/c Ford wasn't doing anything extra special with the Mustang at that time. Times have changed and GM has to keep up with the Jones'. You weren't right all along b/c this car was permanantly dead at one point.

I think Ford did a really good job with the new mustang. They gave it retro looks so it's recognizable as a mustang and has style elements of the old car while still looking modern and sporty. They also did a major re-design of the chassis which was long over due and they did that well without making it cost too much.

It looks like Chevy is on the same track with this camaro concept. I like it! Hell, it looks ten times better than the GTO. They already have the platform, the engine, and the technology to make this car quickly and to make it affordable and competitive. It looks like a camaro and looks modern... and most important is it doesn't look like anything else out there. People will want it because it stands out. The real test will be if GM can produce it without changing it too much from the concept (if they decide to make it that is). Ford and Chrysler have been good at this recently while GM has not, as evidenced by the solctice which looks nice but not nearly as good as the concept did.

WTF are you talking about? There hasn't been a production car that was more true to its concept since the original Viper and Prowler. Last year at the NAIAS they had both the Solstice production car and the original concept, it was hard as hell to tell them apart.
