Wheels next to sections

I notice that these wheels spin when new posts have been made in a certain section after your last visit, but I find it hard to notice.

The GT logos were much easier to tell if there are new posts are not.

can the spinning ones be gold or some different color? color cues are easier to catch than movement, especially on items that small.

I added the No New Posts wheel to my ad blocker, so now only the new post wheels show up.

The wheels are a p1ss poor design. Do not allow for an immediate perception of what is new and what is old. The old grayed out verse colored is a 1000x better interface to relay the information. And the replies in this thread show that. Just because a couple people feel "No problem" telling them apart, doesn't meant they are acceptable.

In the early 1900's there were a few people who found no problem telling the flaps levers from the landing gear levels in airplanes when they were located next to each other...however...they still changed the design and layout because of the many people who didn't like times when they touched down and there was no gear deployed!!

Best comparison ever!!

I agree though. The wheels are harder to notice new posts than the coloured GT logos. I use the New Posts menu choice, but I still agree with the others.

GT logos > spinning wheels.
