i dont have a two way, but i do have this thing called a cell phone and a handy dandy headset that goes with it.


but then again a two way would be fun, lemme price that out.


oh, and no ps2 in my car, i forgot to calc. my alternator in when getting my inverter, thats why it wont power up. soooo until i can get a new alt because im pretty sure my stocker cant handle this powerful of an inverter, just music and laptop.

Cell phones, although handy and very useful is a joke in a situation like this. 30+ cars.....no other simple form of communication other than Two-way radio. Especially when as we get closer, we'll be able to talk. And talking on the phone, headset or not while shifting can be difficult.

What channel will you be using for the two-ways? Im from IL and know the Schaumburg area so I can help provide directions for those who get lost.

Who is planning on being at Busse early, I plan on "setting up shop" with whoever else, Im guessing AJ and Terese?

Noted. Mine is (952) 261-6299.

I can try to see how many walkie-talkies I can "borrow" from work over the weekend. Most likely around 4-5.... it would at least help a bit. They don't have a huge range, but if a group of people were driving together, they could talk to each other.

aj i have 3 beltronics walkie talkies. and if we all dont get the same brand we might as well not even bother. if everyone wants to pick up a pair of beltronics there little, black, and i think have like 15 or so channles with a 2 mile range. the thing is 2 miles isnt THAT far away. i dont know i think if each caravan gave a cell # so we can all call and check on each other that would work fine.
