Agreed 100% however it also depends on your power adders eff. say you have a roots blower and you keep dropping pulley sizes and get out of the eff range you may see better #s by uping the cr a tad and going back to a larger pulley. But its a fine line before a blown head gasket or popped piston.

I'm doing the unthinkable, losing weight in Poland.

and since this is my last post until August, I'll make do what some baseball smartasses do... Get up to the plate, and point to the stands, and hit a home run.

Meh, I figure whats the point. Some of us believe that and some don't, why argue? I'll just say this... I don't thing it's a matter of a 3800 swap as much as it is a 4T65HD swap. We all know this motor can make power and there's no reason it can't make enough power to get the car into the 11's if not the 10's. I don't think even a beefed up 4T45 will hold THAT much power though, so a trans swap might be required. Have to remember also that GA's suffer one major disadvantage to GP's in regard to ET's, and that is the launch. You lose or gain the most time on the launch and GP's have more front end weight and a longer wheel base so they will always get more traction and there's pretty much nothing we can do about that. I certainly think a GA is capable of running a 10 with enough work and the right setup though.

FWD wheelie bars will help the launch. But most people don't think about things like that.... Or are too worried they'll get laughed at. But it would definately help keep the front wheels planted to the track.
