Keep us updated on the status of the car.

Hate to ask, but how much are you looking to get out of the headers?

Sucks. I got into a pretty major accident with my GA. Had frame damage and got it fixed, car had low miles so they didnt total it. Was over 5k in damage, never the same at all, bigger gapbs between the door and the car ect...

i don't know about florida, but i heard that in indiana once your airbags go off it's almost for sure going to be totaled.... my girlfriends mazda was totaled, and it had only broken windshield, and needed doors on drivers side and the front left fender replaced. they totaled it because the frame would need pulled.... hate to ask, but pm me how much you want for the sc/t kit. i'm interested.

Thats becuase pulling/straightening a frame is VERY expensive.

That actually doesn't look bad at all. That frame damage is minimal (less than what I had) and can be easily fixed. The air bags are going to add the most to the cost. The car actually has little major damage and could easily be fixed. It all depends on what the insurance company decides it's worth, and considering that they always under value grand ams I wouldn't hope for much.

usually if the airbargs go off in an accident included with frame damage its a write off. good luck though, hope you get what you want most.

It's not all that bad. When mine was done they put it on a rack to check it. It was actually still straight but they gave it a couple pulls to make sure. The actual rails on the front that were damaged were cut at the factory seems and had new ones welded in, then the whole front end was painted. I had much more damage on the front than he has and mine ended up costing about $2400 in collision repair work and frame parts. That got me back a rolling chassis that I just had to buy the rest of the parts for and reinstall the powertrain.
