That sucks man. Those caps don't look very good and neither does the #5 rod journal. Probably where the knock was coming from.

Sweet pix from the weekend Todd. That sucks about what happened to your car. Im glad you are a Grand Am master and can do it all in your garage. I can do a lot on my own, but not like you! Haha i saw the firehawk pix, you would think they would have been impressive.

Depends... The black on #5 has me worried about the possibility of a bent crank. Will mic everything tomorrow to see what the approach will be. If it turns out the crank is actually bent, I will be lookin towards a forged. (due to the need to re-balance, etc)

Forgive me for asking an uneducated question, but is our stock crank cast?

As much as I really don't want to give it up, I just don't see me using it in the near future, so lemme know if you are interested in my steel crank....

Twas the night before norwalk

Here's some pics of what really was mere hours before Pat left for norwalk. These pics I believe were taken around midnight or 1am. Not the best of quality but what do you expect from a cheap 1yr old cameraphone.

After a long journey all thats left is to pack up and hit the road.. The intercooler, though a bit small, fits very nicely I think.
