Looks like it might be a good turn out. I didn't think we would even have a chance of running tonight but maybe the rain will hold off. I went out to lunch today, sunny and warmer, and the roads are just about dry.

Looking forward to seeing how the new poly bushings will help. I really need to practice my launch. See you tonight if I can get away.

Jon, that's the one. Very close to the lake by Marks picnic spot.

Just called the track. They're opening as planned. I'll be heading out in probably 15-20min.

We didn't even run. By the time I got to the track a very tiny band of a very brief rain had JUST passed. They closed up early... Stupid F***ing rain

I MIGHT consider trying again tomorrow... We'll see how I feel when I wake up in the morning...

Cool.

Note for those getting a STB: Get front AND rear unless you think its fun to fishtail with a FWD car on those tight turns...

Shoulda gone. Still no rain...

Ok assuming the weather holds next week tuesday is looking clear. Who's going?

Ah fun times fun times. Highlights of the night are a new personal best of 15.154, a near perfect R/T of .004 (perfect is .000), and I managed to hit 90mph on a run too.

Did a couple baseline runs with the cutout closed and ran consistent 15.33s so guess it counts for something

Also in keeping with my previous times worst for the night was a 15.847...which ironically enough was the best I did when I went to the track for the first time. Anyways the track conditions were less than stellar tonight as that run demonstrates. I suspect someone trailed some water up the line because a second or two after the launch the tires broke loose forcing me to let off the gas to regain traction. Considering I can't break the tires loose from a roll on a dry street its pretty bad if its on the track. There were a few other times where the tires slipped a little right in the 60' sections too.

Anywho enough blabbing. I'll post up slips tomorrow.
