Rim decision

Well i want to put 18's on my White GAGT. I just dont know if i should go with black ones, brushed aluminum or chrome. And what styles would look the best with out dropping it.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

Ehh, its all about what you like. Look at my new thread in memebrs car gallery to see what chrome will look like. Or One of the Bryan's cars to see what black looks like. I personally like chrome much better (obviously) but its all up to you, Id say go chrome!

Chrome or polished for the flashy look, brushed for a more subtle look. No black, IMO- too played out.

Some wider 5-spokes look best, IMO. Most people love the AE077's, but I personally went with AE 025's because of the wider spokes.

077's

025's

The rim you're gonna find to look best without a drop is going to be one without a bigger lip such as the 077 or the Italia Inoxs. Mirage's car has the 077s on stock suspension and it looks great IMO.

You should ask yourself a couple questions before you decide.
1. are you gona take them off or store your car in the winter?
2. How easy to you want them to be cleaned?
3. Can you afford two sets of tires and rims for the winter time.

Decide for yourself what you want and not what everyone else says .. its your car and do what you like best. When i bought mine i said this is my only car and i can't afford to buy another one just for winter. Also i want my car to look good all year around, not for only 6 months when the weather is decent here in North Dakota. I started out with the stock chrome techs which i love the look, but there a pain in the behind to clean and keep clean. I wanted something that i can have on my car year around cause i can't stand the look of steelies on in the winter.. they make the car look so cheap and for 6 months out of the year it would drive me nuts to look at my car with those cheap ugly steelies on. So no i didn't want to take them off in the winter, and i know Chrome looks so nice and my prefered choice but there hard to clean and you CAN NOT leave chrome on in the winter. So i choose the black with polished lip with a clear coat. They are easy to clean and stay that way all winter long. I still wash my car alot in the winter and do a little extra cleaning on my rimms but they still look as new as they did when i bought them.
But like i said its up to you of what you want to do .. ask yourself those questions and then decide what you want to do. Thats what i did.

Just a thought, have you considered maybe going with a white, bronze or gold rims with a polished lip. Maybe even a gunmetal or a hyper silver. As it's been mentioned it's a matter of personal choice and you just got to find a rim that suits the look your going for. Me I've got two sets of rims, the 18's I've got on now and my 17's which are gonna receive a powder coating to match the color of my car before becoming my winter rollers with some exspensive winter tires

I vote Gunmetal with polised aluminum. There are too many white GAs with black rims on here. They'll all look the same. Either that get the new konigs and paints the pieces white.
