Problems with ALERO????

I found a 2000 black Alero coupe for sale locally. $3000 with leather, sunroof, v6 and 85K miles. I know the grand am is notorious for the lower intake manifold, but were there any problems with the alero?? I don't feel like signing up to the alero site for one question and I know there are a lot of owners on this forum. Any help is appreciated.

Just get the Cobalt. It will save you time and money, and you get more. N-bodies have a ridiculous amount of problems; I know, I've had multiple aleros and grand ams.

I checked the car out and it was a rusting POS. I'm not getting a cobalt because they are too expensive. $5000 is my max.
