New centercaps coming

So I've got some new used steelies coming in probably sometime next week along with the centercaps for them. They're the police issue rims you see on most impalas.

Where's the help me decide? Its coming...

Help me decide what's the best way to cover the chevy emblem?

The surface is flat and fully flush. So I could either, paint it black, paint it black and then paint a pontiac arrow onto it, or just decal it. Round black decal or round black with the arrow. I'm leaning more towards paint, but then I'd have to sand it to prep it. Basically I'm just looking to cover up or get rid of the chevy emblem.

I would make vinyl disks before painting. If they are 2", you could get four blind spot mirrors.

I'm leaning towards vinyl for the sake of simplicity, but then longevity comes into play. The vinyl will only last for so long and I'd love to have the pontiac symbol on them. So wouldn't that wind up being 2 sets? One disk and one arrow?

I'd go through Mark. He was the one who hooked me up with my lone wolf kanji decals after all.

Hmmm maybe I could have the kanji for wolf there instead of the pontiac symbol

Yea you can get stuff done through him. Dunno what he charges off the top of my head these days but he's real reasonable. When I ordered the custom decals through him it worked out that I was able to get a bunch of extras. I have 4 decals laying around, but I'd really hate to split them up. I think I'll be asking Mark to get me some more of just the wolf part of the kanji...

Vinyl should hold up for years as long as it is quality material.

I got some circular emblems from ebay and put them on my center caps. They are flexible plastic about a 1/8 inch thick, 2" diameter.
