Hood or?

I saved up some money, about 1500.
Should I get the sct hood now or Get all the smaller things like the clear/black headlights, tail lights, Window tint, maybe lowering, and a couple other parts. I could prob get the hood and have it painted and still have enough to buy headlights or somethn
What do you guys think?

Find a used SC/T hood in your color, shouldn't be too hard. Save $750 for that. Then spend the rest on tint($200) and lowering($400+ to do it right)

Hold out on the hood- you'll be able to find a better deal if you wait-- whether it's used, salvaged, or otherwise. Put the money into more, smaller mods that aren't making the car stock.

Sc/t skirt kit/spoiler/headlights are all things you could do.

Performance wise go with cai/headers possible/exhaust if not already done

Or you can put that money away incase of a major repair down the road (i.e lim repair, brakes, suspension)

gtdreams hey everyone, I'm a newb!
I would tint the windows and get a Borla cat-back exhaust and cold air intake.....Or if you are not looking for more performance,SCT body kit and spoiler, black housing headlights.

Here's a link for used hoods. Unfortunately, as I found out while trying to see who has what, they have regular hoods mixed in w/ Ram Air hoods and some are mislabled. You basically have to call the places to verify. Most will not ship either.

http://car-part.com/cgi-bin/search.cgi

If you can't get a decent hood at a decent price, go for all the smaller stuff first.

Well, i think the stock GT tails are the best. However if you really want aftermarket tails,i would get smoked led tails that they sell on Ebay, just do not get chrome tails in any shape or form.Black TYC tails are pretty good also, but i can hardly find them anymore, they would look good on just about any color car,of course thats just my opinion.

Ok, well.... its hard to say if they need upgrading if you don't know whats currently on there. Did you buy the car with all the stuff on there and not get a list of what was done?
