Fire safe/lockbox

Im looking into buying a fire-resistant safe/lockbox for the trunk of my GA. I will need to bolt it down to something back there. There are alot of things I carry for work that I want to have a little more secure than they are now. Would it be cool just to bolt it right to the base of the trunk, or can someone think of somewhere more specific to put it, I would prefer to put it on the right corner next to the tail light. Any suggestions or tips? Thanks, KM

I would suggest putting the box right up against the back of your rear seats unless you have subs back there. Or you could always bolt them to your seats?

^ The seat backs can be removed too easily. I'd stay with somewhere more solid.

Well in that case just drop the exhaust and send two lag bolts through the floor of the trunk.

If you don't have subs I would just tuck it up there nice and snug behind the back seats in the right/left corner.

well yes I do have subs, but im looking to downsize from 2 12's to 1 10 or 12. However, im going to be keeping work-related (paramedic tour chief) stuff in the box, (sometimes i use my car at work) and I need to be able to get to it relatively quick. I kind of like this..

my biggest concern is getting it secured thats all.
