Help choosin subs

Right now i have dual Kenwood KFC w0312 12" subs.

I would like to get new sub/subs..

Help me choose.


1. Single Sundown Audio SA 12
2. Dual Rockford Fosgate P3d412 12"
3. Dual JL 12w3v3 12"


What would be the best choice?

70% loud, 30% SQ

Where are you at in Wisconsin? I have 2 p3 12's in a sealed box for sale....

Edit - Already asked you this. Like an hour from Madison. PM me if you are interested in these. Used for about a month with alpine mrp-m500's. One to each sub.

From your options listed, Go jl for sq , sundown for slightly higher spl and use the rf's for refrigerator magnets. upgrade to jl w6v2d4 12's for great spl and sq. What amp are you running or going to be running?

my friends got a audio pipe 12" competition sub... 750 watt rms 1 sub and it hits harder than my friend with 2 12 inch kicker comp cvrs hooked up to a rockford fostgate amp

also dont get the jl v3's if your not going to run a jl amp. 3 ohm vc's in parrallel will give a 1.5 ohm load... etc etc.. assuming you know all this already

I'll get pics sometime this weekend for you. I'm almost positive they are 4ohm DVC.

what are you talkin about w3's only come in 2 ,4 or 8 ohm loads

so 2 would run ethier 1,2 or 4ohm depending on what impedance you buy. most amps do 2 ohm so buy 2 4 ohm subs

havent been on jl's new **** in a while. whats the v3 stand for then? Iknow the w7's come in dual 1.5 ohm vc's so thats what i was talkin about.

In my expierience you really cant go wrong with anything jl makes (excluding tma) I have 2 w6's that ive put over 1000rms to (rated600) and they just wont quit. Sittin in the closet!
