i was debating on using my buddies car dolly and towin the car up there, i know its not a ''race car'' but i guess having a truck and car dolly is better then being stranded 100 miles away from home...guess thats my only holdback

Naw, its a good question. I have to finalize my AF enlistment paperwork next week, and thats more important than a GA meet.

indeed it is, ive been giving the air force a thought lately. im really not sure what to do though because i dont want to be away at boot camp this winter or next spring because kane county is hiring like crazy for the road from the next list, so i want to be here if they call me. everything is up in the air right now.

There's a lot of reasons why im enlisting, but one I can share is this-my parents dont have $15,000 to just hand over for my college, and finaid only pays for about $7000 max for college, leaving me $8000 I gotta come up with.No job I can get without a degree-and some jobs with a degree, these days-will pay enough for school out of pocket with any money left over. And you need to eat!

Heck, working retail pretty much is service anyways.Few days off, lies and BS up and down the ranks,and your pretty much owned by the store.They say jump, you either say how high, or you look for another job-good luck with that, now .Plus the icing on the cake- the theat of layoff at any time or place. I just got fed up with it .

That was a unpleasant surprise last year.
The second day, I ended up taking IL-21/US-45; to avoid the construction traffic jam.

I was on the I-294 north from Willow Ave, on Friday.
It seems to be under construction until about Gurnee Mills Mall.
So, expect traffic delays

Coming back south bound seems to be ok.

boost21, told me that Milwaukee Ave./IL-21 is under construction & the road is all torn up, by N River Street.

Most of the time it isn't TOO bad so I wouldn't worry too much about it. Just plan for some extra time.

Update-

RT173 is torn up between the 94 overpass and US 45, theyre doing the one-lane deal while its being re-paved, so expect delays there during the day.

double edit...HOPEFULLY i can figure out why my car keeps spiking 20 pounds of boost, i think i got the boost controller hooked up wrong...its turned all the way down

like most of us now, no, im not running, im not WOT tuned, nor do i have the money to do so at this point, and the motor still only has 2k on it. the spring for sure. believe me, i want to.
