New To Site Wanted To Share my Ride

hi guys n girls im new to this site, but not new to cars, i didnt know there was a place for us ga cars, im member of dsm scene. anyhow just wanted to say hi and share pics of my ga gt. im gettn ready to get exhaust on july 9th and cai this week sometime. not sure what else i can do with this car, outide and system all done. i would love to have one of my holset turbos on it but i know it aint gonna happen kinda not worth it for 6psi when my tsi is running 25psi. anyhow any input on what else can be done to these engines would be helpfull for me.

http://s374.photobucket.com/albums/oo189/osnoozeo/

check out my ga gt and any input would be great

also is there any engine management for these cars, like i have ecmlink for my talon. but not sure what can be used for ga, also what size injectors r in ga's?

Engine management plug in type systems do not exist for the GA. Pre-tuned PCM's or user tuned (using HPTuners or DHP) PCM's are the only way to control the car everything else is junk. For your model year you have 22.5lb/hr injectors. They can be uprgraded to trailblazer 28lb/hr injectors with no modification to the fuel rail or injector clips but the PCM fuel tables must be adjusted accordingly.

There are plenty of boosted GA's running around these days.

Please use the search feature and read the stickys as everything that needs to be asked has most likely been answered many times over.

yea so with those pcms i can adjust the fuel tables or do they come flashed with fuel tables n so on, like for ie my tsi i have 1600cc injectors but i have to change deadtimes, global fuel and so on. so im just tryin to get an idea

yea i read a few allready with turbos, doesnt really seem worth all the money and headaches, when this is just my cruise car. so i can goto hptuners.com and get a pcm from them or is there another retailer that sells them?

Big fan of DSMs when they're actually running.

HPTuners is the only personal software that is available right now for this platform. If you want to have a quick DD then go all motor and stick with I/H/C/E and it'll be extremely reliable. I've been cruising around beating the hell out of mine for 51k miles with the mods (76k total miles) now and it'll beat 95% of the cars on the road.

Welcome to GAGT.

ok thx, yea its not even a dd, i use my talon for that. but i drive it about 200miles a month or so. just been working on outside. i totally agree with ya on the dsms. im always working on that thing. what a pain in the ass it is to. i guess theres really no other motor to replace the 3.4 in those cars is there? im selling my talon now, looking to put few more things in ga. new headlights is next i cant even see at night with the ones that r in there... i guess my biggest problem with my ga is that its auto, im use to stick with my dsm. thats y im not really worried about being to fast with it. i got plenty of speed with tsi. just lookin for me stuff to do to the motor.
i didnt even know there was other ppl out there that mod ga's, awsome rock on.
thanks for the input guys...

ppl have done the 3.8L swap but I honestly don't think it's worth the trouble. There is a 6spd tranny out there that you can swap in tho if you're up to it. Again, don't know if it's worth the trouble.

yea theres tons of ga's around here, and im one to be different, i hate having the same car as what maybe 3000 other ppl out here. so i cut a opening in the hood and mounted the scoop, i dont see no extra gain from it though, cause i have nothing done to the motor yet. i get the cai sometime this week, exhaust on july 9th. thats about as far as ive gotton so far.

zukiracer19 Still kinda new, but learning

but anyways, welcome;

DSMs can be really fast, but don't last long what so ever... and you may think 6 psi isn't much but Trust me it's there.

www.youtube.com/user/slograndam

I think angrysk8r and extreme both also have vids too.
