Not to mention they blew past an intersection that has "stop" posted. Plus a car was turning onto the street too. All on TV. And I can't even hear that whistle **** on that crappy car. Can anyone say stupid. Thats one of the dumbest mods ever.

OMG that is awful! but I do not see how that is legal.... I mean don't most cities have a sound ordance after a certain time? The exhaust might be legal, but the sound I can not see how (if they have the sound restrictions...).

BUT that guy they had interviewed now he wqas funny. Tearing out of the gas station, on he wrong side of the road, almost hitting another car and then runing a stop sign all on tv he he he

WHOO WHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!

Now that I've listened to the news clip closely I realize that I've heard these things before...I just thought they were passing BART trains...how annoying. I'm stayin' in SoCal...the Raiders are down here anyway!

My previous car was a rocket compared to that car. Wasn't that intentionally though. It was a really old used car (was thinking of making a hot rod out of it ... yeah right a datsun). Anyway it had a cracked header, muffler ... etc..... Plus it didnt actually drive unless heated up for at least 30 minutes. And even then still stalled on every intersection and leaked oil.

That was not just a wake up call, it was a torture for even me in it. I think after very many pointless complaints neighbors were considering starting a fund raiser to buy me a new car .

But it is illegal to have an extremely loud car here in California. Just definition of extreme differs from person to person so there is a sound measure that is actually used for it. Measured in real sound units. Gotta check out at the station dont know from top of my head. But I'm pretty sure thats how it's applied.
