Angry Projector Low Beam not Working ...possibly moving to HIDs

Okay so I have these lights an I absolutely love everything about them...

http://4caroption.com/images/product...PGAM99BC-5.jpg

BUT i have no idea why my passenger lowbeam is not working anymore. I checked all the connections and everything seems fine. The night before it totally stopped working i noticed that the passenger bulb was a bit dim, but not it is totally off and will not turn on when my lights turn on ...anyone ever had this problem ?

could it be just that the bulb burnt out?

if its just the bulb than im planning on getting these HIDs
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/XENON...=p4506.c0.m245

for 50 bucks it cant be beat. ...any suggestions

also anyone have any experience with HIDs in these headlighhts? im kind of worried about putting HIDs in there because there is a sticker on the back of my headlight that says "NO HID ALLOWED" ...anyone know anything about this??

Do you have your relay for DRL's pulled?
on an 03 that should be all you need to do to shut off DRL's I would think if they are still on they may be the cause of burned out bulb.
Though I am unsure of that.
Far as the HID's go I think the sticker is there as a CYA "Cover Your Ass" thing. If you have problems and you put HID's in they will not warranty it. I have HID's in mine with no problems.

*facepalm*

9007 and H1 are bulb types.

9007 is the stock type, it's a dual filament bulb, meaning it's the high and low beam.

H1 is what most projectors use, and since it splits the high and low beam, H1's are single.

You need the 9007 to H1 so you can hook the H1 HID bulb to the 9007 stock socket.

Oy...

Check out www.hidny.com

It's where I got mine from. They have the 9007 to H1 kits, just gotta sift through the site and find it. Good prices on HID kits.

If it's a 9007 kit, cencel the order. And the 9007 to H1 is all plug and play. It's like an adapter, so the ballasts can get power from the 9007 socket, and use it for the H1 bulb.

First before you do anything the new head lights, they have 2 bulbs per side right, high and low are seperate bulbs.
If that is the case the headlight should have come with the adaptor he is talking about it is no longer a 9007 socket, as the new 4 head light bulbs will not plug into the 9007 socket

Then Second you need to know what type of bulbs the new projector headlights take, H1 is a possibility, I got projectors that use a 9006 bulb for the low beam, and H1 for the high.

I've got to look into doing this too possibly. The SS Utra's in my fogs are brighter than my projectors...

If you REALLY wanna look badass and still retain high and low beams see if boost21 is still selling his retrofits. They're a bit pricey compared to a simply plug and play kit, but for custom retrofitted projectors and all the fixing's they're well worth the price. If I had the cash I'd buy them in a heartbeat.

when you put the new head lights in it had to have that wiring kit built into it or you would not have been able to run the H1's that came with the lights.
