LED 3rd brake light kits

Hey guys, I just finished up making a led 3rd brake light for my car and mark (laxjax13). They basically tap into the (+) and (-) of the 3rd brake light and fir directilly in the housing of your light. I was thinking that people on the forum who are tired of changing the always burning out brake light bulbs or people looking to do cheap practical mods might be intrested. anywho here are some pictures of the real LED brake light. I also have installation instructions with pictures.
$17 shipped

installed on car

i have the ok to post this

I believe that, by law, all cars must have a third brake lamp. I'll try looking it up.

Edit-

By law all cars must come from the factory with a third brake light.

Only other thing I could find was that even if you have a trailer the trailer is required to have a 3rd brake light, which sometimes means installing one yourself.

Getting rid of it is risky. I find myself usually looking at the third brake light when people are braking..when someone's bulbs are out or whatever, it catches me off guard.

Also now thinking how this thread is 3 years old now, I still have my original light I made in and haven't heard of anyone having any issues with the lights I've made over the years.
