Borla Sound

Hey, just wanted some opinions and had a few questions before I grab the Borla off PFYC.com: If I just have the Borla exhaust without a CIA at the moment, would it turn my GAGT into a ricer? I live in a crappy area and all I hear are fart-can mufflers on body kit'd civics, I was wondering if having JUST the exhaust would turn the GA into that, or would it sound like a deep V8? I plan on getting a CAI in a bit, just need to settle some debt while in college.

Thank you and sorry if that has already been posted in the past, I saw the sticky, but I didn't see this on it.

The Exhaust will give the car a mellow deep rumble regardless of your intake. I had mine on the car with the stock airbox for years. The Intake really does not change the sound of the exhaust, as there is that whole engine thing in between that makes all the noise.

just so you know before you spend all that money on the borla, there are other CHEAPER alternatives.

Go with the Borla, it'll sound great. A CAI will only improve that.

whats with people wanting a v8 sound out of a v6? You can have a nice sounding v6 if you want, but you'll never have a v6 with v8 sound. It defies logic

Cammed 3400s with headers sound pretty beefy, you'd be surprised

originally it was all stock piping. just had a 90 degree elbow into the muffler and two more 90 degrees out to dual tips, with a straight pipe where the resonator was. then i had from the cat back mandrel bent 2.5" pipeing. and a downpipe with a high flow cat from zzp now.
