My car is a conversion.. I'm not hiding it at all. I added the whole package right down to the seats. it is a Roush.. The car was even at Roush HQ during the transformation.

How much did it cost you to convert? You don't have to answer if you don't want to, I'm just curious. Did you get all of your parts from the Roush website or eBay, or another site?

about 5-6K That includes wheels, seats, bodykit, badges, windshield banner, door sill plates, Roush tool kit (signed by Jack himself)

All parts came directly from Roush as some parts were installed at Roush HQ

How come you couldn't be like any other person here and simply quote what I said and respond with clarification? Now you just leave some idiotic, ominous reply out of nowhere.

Wait....I know why...because you are one of those internet forum mods who get butthurt real easy and use your mod toolbar to edit what you want to disappear.

For the record folks, my comment was: Cloaning/faking the reality of the car you paid for =

Should have added stuff that makes a difference, like a built engine and forced induction. Now all you have is a slow V8 with a bodykit, wheels and some stickers. Of course, that's an opinion, which is allowed here as long as I say it the way I did

why would you pay 6 grand for a bunch of appearance mods... and forget about the actual parts that make it a Roush mustang?

When I think Roush I think about a supercharged mustang with upgraded suspension bits and everything else.

It's like me buying a WRX and only buying the STi wheels, interior, and brakes and skipping over the stronger 6 speed and hi perf motor. and saying I have a STi conversion.

It's what makes a Subaru, a Subaru.

You do realize Roush mustangs that you find at Ford dealerships are the same way (mostly appearance, nothing else)... stage 1 to 2 don't even have a supercharger...

Exactly, the only difference is I didn't pay out the ass to have it all done at Roush. I actually saved about 3-4 K over a Stage 1 built by Roush.

ARAAM, while i agree that Roush stage 1 and 2 arent real roushes (same as the base model Saleen) i just attribute it to the saying "to each their own". Not everyone wants/needs a crazy race car. Just because I wont buy a car with less than 400 hp doesnt mean that everyone on the road needs that much power.

Roush GT, its not worth arguing with ARAAM. you dont need to justify anything you do. if you like your car then thats all that matters. its still nicer and faster than 99.9% of the grand ams on here.

I agree with most of your statement...except...How is the stage 1 and 2 not a REAL Roush? A Roush is a Roush no matter what stage it is. Same goes for a Saleen, just because it doesnt have a blower doesnt mean its not a Saleen.

My opinion is that if its just an appearance package it doesnt matter who installed it, its just for looks.

if you take a fiero and put a lamborghini kit on it is it then a Lamborghini? does it make it any more real if a Lamborghini technician or Lamborghini factory worker does the work?

this still shouldnt take away from RoushGTs opinion of his own car. he did what makes him happy and nobody should b e telling him that hes wrong.

EDIT: i do see what you say tho, since Roush and Saleen are aftermarket brands they wouldnt be factory modified cars anyways but this is just my opinion that its not a Roush if its not "Roushcharged".

MY point is its a REAL Roush mustang. Your comparison shows your level of intelligence, or lack there of.

my turn to edit: So you are saying the 2011 Roush S1 and S2 are not real Roush mustangs (there is no S3 yet)? Maybe you should call them and tell them that.

I agree, if people still don't see a stage 1 and stage 2 as a ROUSH mustang, then they should argue it to Roush and see what they say...
