Front wheel stock is .5" wider to offset the wondering car and to help with traction. I want to get another set of black 18" or 20" wheels that are also staggered.

Heres another video of the same car with the same stock motor with the turbo kit on a wet track, notice the car has an a$$ ton of rake.
Posted a 12.22 @ 119.91. Also, I just got back from boulder and averaged 26.4 mpg and that was running about 5-7mph over the speed limit. Theres a lot of hills and I had two runs with a G35. He was creeping up on me while i was cruising and finally when he went to pass me i matched his speed... both runs started right around 60mph, the first ended at 95 at a dead tie and the second ended at 110 with him a quarter of a car length ahead of me (it was a long winding left curve on I36). I'm a little disappointed most people don't have much to say (or if anything mostly negitive) about the car... Granted Pontiac could have done so much more with the car it really has proven itself as a worthy contender in IMO.

still for srt JEEP it is still comparable to most other sport cars that are most well known.. and if u can't beat a G35 then u really not gonna beat a srt jeep, trust me i know how srts run.

25mpg seems way more accurate for that type of car. if you stay off the pedal you can get closer to 28. I cant speak for anyone else, but im more of a fan of the G8 due to its RWD, 6.0L (or 6.2 in GXP) and it still has 4 doors. BTW in the video of the black turbo i thought it was a sunfire. I just dont find those cars attractive at all.

^ i under stand that and thAT was my point. the jeep srt is much faster so if a neon srt can beat wat he lost to and beat wat he beat, then the jeep in no way gonna lose to it

He started creeping slowly on me the second round because we were on a long winding turn, he was on the inside lane therefore he started inching in front of me before we were close to the straight. Quote:
I'm not denying the numbers! I think there is a misconception that I am bragging about this, I am not. It happened just as recently as I decided to post this so I thought id share it. I did a brake stand both times holding at 2200rpm. I didn't have TC on and feathered off the line. I'm just telling it how it was, I pulled on him shifting into second. Thats how it happened. Call "BS" on me. It is pointless to discuss without video... therefore I should have known sharing a story like this especially of the nature it is that I was wasting my time. Numbers on paper DO NOT REFLECT THE NEXT GUYS DRIVING SKILLS. Just because someone has a fast vehicle doesn't mean they know how to drive it. I dont know what happened on his end, but obviously something wasn't working out in his favor. Quote:
![]() QFT Comparable, yes. Your knowledge and understanding, About as much as a 13 year old. Your strickly confined to numbers on paper. For all you/I know he could have had a generic tire on. That would make a reasonable difference, now wouldn't it???? Just because your car has an "SRT" badge on it doesn't reflect you "know" how the Jeep SRT-8 pulls. So don't go hang with the local big boys now and pretend you think you have a place there. The Charger SRT-8, The Jeep SRT-8, The Viper SRT-10, The Challenger SRT-8 are going to walk all over your ***** **** just the same as the majority of car owners on here. Its not like im hanging with all the G8 GXP guys just because my car has a "GXP" emblem on it. Or its not like I'm bragging about it. Just sharing what happened. Quote:
The G8 is straight sick but just not within my means of living, Its more car than I need and RWD isn't something I want to worry about in the Winter between living here and traveling back home. Quote:
What your point again? Look at what you typed.

do u have a turbo or not?? if u did i can see if u won or wat not and how u figure my car is alot slower then any other srt?? sir u don';t know the MODs i ACTUALLY did to MY car rather then sayin MAYBE a turbo. state wat u got and state ur number on dyno pulls then u can say wat u want, but before u start talkin smack to someone or everyone on there opinion cause u can't prove it either way then yes it is point less. but IF u got a TURBo lets see motor pic or something. i mean no one in the world would turbo a car that is not meant for a turbo and not have pics of vids of the car inside and out.
if ur car is stock and u did beat that srt jeep. im all in on sayin congrats cause yes i know everyone gets LUcky somtimes, or he just didn't know how to drive to good for u sir. but other then that u have nuthin else to stand on.

there is no "skill" involved for going in a straight line, in an automatic AWD car. Just mash the pedal to the far right, and you'll be set. Not sure why you keep saying he was shifting slow, because only one trans comes on that ride.

i love this thread. makes for some excitement around here yet. if you are complaining about people are responding to your original post...don't comment on what you are doing with the car on the street because honestly who cares?
I've posted a couple "update" threads and they have all carried on in some nice dialogue and then went away.

To all these race stories going on in here ever think maybe they weren't actually full throttle and were toying with you, unless you know the guy racing beside you and know he was full throttle??

I apologize for not writing in appropriate APA format and grammar. Let me rephrase it so that your high IQ can understand.
"IMHO, the Jeep can hang with almost any car on the street today from 0-60. The Z06, Viper, modded Evo's and STi's, or any other seriously modded vehicle are about the only vehicles that stand the chance of consistently topping the Jeep in a 0-60 confrontation. P.S. Of course the GTR, Ferrari's, Lambo's, ZR1, etc. can to...but I'm talking everyday car's you may come across. Although Viper probably belongs in this secondary list as they are fairly rare.

It doesn't, it was very poor choice of words, implying that the jeep would beat those other cars a large percentage of the time.......
