Grand Am Build

I didn't know where to put this so I figured I'd start here. Ok so I'll start by giving you some unnessary information first. I have owned my car for 10yrs and counting and it now has 226k on the clock. It recently has blown a intake gasket (as you know, it's common on these cars) which has pushed me forward into my build. I decided, because of the milage, to just pull the engine and trans out and rebuild all the gaskets down to the head and freshen it up. Also putting a new trans in since mines been sloppy and slipping for years now. I've never had any issues with the car except the intake gasket (1st one was internal, 2nd is external) and the trans slipping. I absolutely love this car and have never taken this car to a machanic shop as I preferr to do all the work to it myself that way I know exactly what's being done.

Ok so onto the real reason for the thread...the turbo build. This has always been stuck in my head since the day I brought the car home but just never had the time to attempt it but I think this would be a great sleeper and alot of fun. I have been reading on some of your threads about your builds but I have a few questions.

- What cam can I upgrade to (if any)?
- Can I use a GN turbo and intercooler?
- I found out I can use 04/06 Trailblazer injectors which I believe are 28lbs. Is there any higher lbs injectors I can use with out modding to much?
- Is it possible to get the specs on the piping and manifolds? Example: 2" 90 degree or 1 3/4 45 degree, etc. etc. (I'm gonna attempt to make it myself)

I'm sure I have more questions but for now that's all I can think of. Any help would be greatly appreciated and I thank you for your time. Also here is some pics of my car now.

milzymotorsports.com sells a stage 3 turbo cam and you can also buy 36, 42.5 or 60lb injectors from them as well.

Thanks, I love that hood & it's fully fuctional. Right now it works well as a heat extractor scoops in the front for air flow & seperate in the back to let the heat out. Temp never climbs over 150. I'm gonna try to make a ram air setup for it. As for the wheels, I liked the looks of the stock wheels but wanted something different then all the rest so I painted them. Thanks for te kind words
