Only about 15 - 20% of the cars got the LS6 block, all the 2002 cars got the LS6 Intake manifolds.

Not steep at all, that is fair market loanable value for the car. Meaning that is what NADA tells the credit union I work at what a safe loanable amount for the said car is.

It books for $13,000 on NADA's site, WS6 cars can fetch way more!

Try selling it on ebay.. Before the cash for clunkers ordeal this would have sold for $8,000. Also don't sell something like this on a pontiac website full of cheap asses.

Do yourself a favor, put the stock wheels back on. Those wheels are just awful. Stock wheels will help the sale, especially if you want that price.

So your trying to get top dollar for your car, but you wont spend the 10-15 seconds to check the casting numbers to see if its an LS6 block to sell it.

Casting # for 2002 LS1 is 12559378.
Casting # for 2002 LS6 is 12561168.

You don't post the mileage.

You have awful wheels

You have awful tips.

Friend bought a VERY nice condition WS6 six speed with mods for 6k in Ohio.

You have a cool car, but a cold price.

Sorry, but they still go for real prices from what I have seen and delt with, also modified cars go for less than stock vehicles for the F-Bodies. I could go buy a 500hp T/A for the same price, but you take a big gamble on the modified ones, unless you know who did it and have had work done by said person before.

HOYS, question for you, if you tried to sell your Grand Am and it books out $5000 are you not going to try to get it?

Yes, I know the wheels are ugly, but the old guys up here always compliment me on them, not sure why, . The guy I bought it from was old and cheap, Just because you guys don't like it, doesn't mean other people don't. Just look at the (A)wful (E)ducation (D)esign kits that everyone had to get for all their vehicles in the early 2000's.

Haters gonna hate, NADA books it out for that, so that is where I am starting....

Guys he wants to make sure the car goes to a good home as well I'm sure. His price is what most banks finance them for total cost with interest. G/L with the sale.

Guess what, cars is different states go for way diifferent prices. I was looking at Subaru Legacy GT's for a daily driver and if I want to head to FL, TX, NY, WA, and a couple other states they were going for $6000 less than what they were in MI. I have seen a few WS6 cars go for less, and some go for way more!
