My guess is yes, when I still had my 6000K HIDs, they had the same exact color his does in pictures.

I'd slap money down and do a retro fit if I actually still gave a fock about the Grand Ma.

I initally put the 255's on because I had to get a replacement set of tires fast, and cheap and a guy was selling the staggered setup off his 350z or some such car and the price was right so I grabbed them up and I loved the way the tires filled out the large gap in these wheel wells, so I decided to keep that look and no rubbing ever. I would not suggest 245/40/18's because it will change your speed but 255/35/18's would work and keep your speed very close to accurate though I am not sure how the tires would work up front I doubt there would be rub but I have never tried it.

Or better yet go with 245/35/18 that will have your speed off by less then .2mph

Ok I put the new sway bars on and decided to try the 255's up front, they fit fine no rub and the traction is very nice. I will most likely put the 225's back up front and see if there is much difference but let me tell you the cornering with those wide tires and sway bars is amazing.

Im thinking about goin to 255/35 on mine when i put the bars on, currently on eibachs/gr2s and have run 235/40s without issue on 8 inch wheels. What offset are your wheels, i am goin to have to look mine up...i cant recall.

they are either 8" or 8.5" wide wheels, I dont remember atm the offset is 48.
I have a topic on it Ill look it up to find out for sure.

In your opinion what is closer to the absolutely PURE WHITE color, 5k or 6k? because I see alot of cameras make 6ks look like the color I want, but also other pics make it look bluer then I want. I've always set myself to get 5ks since its claimed to be pure white by DDM Tuning, but apparently some other companies 6k may look like some other companies 5k

4300K = pure white

5000K is more of a brighter white, while 6000K is white with a slight tint of blue.

I believe technically 4300k is pure white, I think that is what many bmw's use for stock light.

5k is very white with just the faintest touch of blue and 6k is much more pronounced blue 8k very blue and 10k edges on ultraviolet.

With 255's you are probably going to want to ditch those GR2's for some AGX's... if you can find 'em. I'm in the same boat and looking for some myself. Even with sway bars and stiffer springs, stock dampening is not enough, and with tires that wide and with that much traction you are going to need more dampening to control body motion during cornering.
