Mine used to look a lot better too, when I had a second car. It still got driven, but not nearly as much. You can keep your paint looking good when you have a garage to keep it in, you can keep it clean and waxed etc.

Once I could only have one car and didn't have to the facilities to work on it anymore, the paint got a lot more damage. My front bumper needs to be repainted really. That's the reality of a daily driver though. If a car is on the road a lot, it will get damaged. Either by road debris, weather, or idiots in parking lots.

Yeah it would be nice to have two cars but I can't fathom the idea of having a car JUST for show and only driving one of my two cars every other month.

Still making it for certain/a goal to have a garage and/or shelter for the first duplex/apartment/house I get. Would be so nice -.- fk u sleepy

Plus what mainly catches my eye is his brake rotors, how they're always perfect without any rust, that's how I would think it doesn't see rain, even if your car is sitting in the rain some rust will get on it overtime. I loved how my rotors looked the day I put them on but with a DD you can't keep them rust free, constantly cleaning them would be pointless on a DD, function over form right?

If you ever want/need your paint restored just come on down.i cant repaint your bumpers, but i can restore the car to a mirror like finish. Consider this an open invitation

Oh, I know how to clay bar a car, polish it, etc. That's not the problem.

There are rock chips and scratches in places now, and there are stress cracks in the paint all over the front bumper from too many times of it being pushed/pulled going in/out a step drive, or getting towed, etc etc. It just needs to be repainted. My trunk needs to be redone too. The paint has cracked where I molded the wing to it, and where I filled the old holes for the stock wing. They really should have been welded in and ground and filled, and I should have used panel bond instead of bondo for the wing. Maybe some day I'll fix that stuff. Not right now though.

My car does see rain but not often. But, yes this is basically a show car and cruising car only. I've owned this car for 8 years and have barely put 5000 miles on it. I don't have disposable cash, I want to build this car once, not once every couple of years due to wear and tear. So, therefore it sits in the garage where it is safe. My car, my decision.

Those are Camaro SS wheels.

G8 guys like them because of the aggressive offset, and they'll work with no modifications needed (the Camaro is based off the Zeta chassis as is the VE Commodore)

Damn, good eye. They are close to identical. If i saw the wheel face on, i woulda said ss wheels. But couldnt tell much from the angle. Oh well!

thanks, i really love how they fill the wheel wells. the white wax, kinda sounded like a gimmick to me. that liquid glass sealant (the blue stuff) was at autozone in a really small bottle for $25. you get what you pay for. it's been 4 months since i put it on, rain beads off just as much as when it was fresh. and bugs and dirt still come off so easy when washing.
