and tanner, i see your point, but if i put somr aftermarket wheels, they would have to be 18"s, and 18s w/o a drop its gonna sit ridiculously high... so in order to drop it i would need about $600 to do it the right way thats including lowering springs, lowering strusts, possibly a chamber kit to avoid abnormal tire damage/worn.
And my main concern about lowering it is breaking the kit with these nasty ass streets in chicago. But then again i might just do it all if i got the money

Meh, I like my A E D body kit. SC/T is definitely my second favorite though.

It won't sit any higher on 18's than it will on 16's. You typically have to get a lower profile tire on an 18, and if you get the correct size tire the outside diameter will be almost the same. Bigger wheel + thinner tire = same ride height at stock.

Also there is no such thing as lower struts for these cars. All the struts made for it are actually designed for stock ride height. It is a good idea to get some stiffer and/or better quality new struts with lowering springs however since the springs are stiffer and will wear out the stock struts more quickly. If you get a body kit, I recommend going with Eibach springs. They have the smallest drop available, so they won't make it too low and risk more damage to the kit, and they won't throw off the suspension geometry too much. You don't need a camber kit with them. I am on Eibachs and the front bumper of my Rk kit is 3.5" off the ground, and I've never needed a camber kit. I wouldn't want to be any lower than that.

Lol sounds like my car when you have it on the loud setting.

Of course not v8 but resembles that perfectly, along with the popping.

It's a grand prix, what do you expect? Those things are leak whores! I hated mine. I replaced every gasket and seal on it, and put a new oil pan on too, and it still leaked oil. Yet another reason I think the 3800 engine is a piece of sh!t.

This one is an 01 SE. Only 3100. Slow! 195k and runs like a champ though. Everything works but half of the dash lighting.

Yep... Same here. Gonna need some new struts and shocks soon though.

Still a bit wary about dropping(even if using Eibachs) w/ the clearence that the cow pusher... I mean the lip spoiler of the SC/T kit...

Just do the Eibach's Matt, it makes it sit just right. If you are worried about the lowering just run a 245/40 tire on the 18s and it will raise it back up a little and fill in the fenders some more. Not to mention give you better traction with the boosted power!
