I'm sure my car was rarely ever garaged in its 13 years of life and there is not a sign of rust issues, just couple pea sized spots of surface rust.

The car was being repainted. Its a member on amod. But yes that rust gets nasty as you can see.

Yep, I have no choice.

The rust on my '97 GP was way worse than that. It's previous owner didn't take care of it though. Yeah, driving it in winter isn't good for it all around, but you can minimize the effects with a good coat of wax and regular washing. If you leave the snow with the road salt and crap stuck on the bottom of the car all winter, yeah it's gonna rust.

That is a problem with N-body coupes. Sedans don't have to worry about that as much.

Plus us Northerners just goto places like this http://www.krownny.com/index.html and I don't need to worry about rust.

You would be suprised. It happens on the sedan alot as well.

Closest krown place to me is just over ohio border.

At some point I will do it. But if there is rust already would covering it up be okay or would you have to eliminate the rust you have before hand?

yes, you would have to eliminate all the rust before coating it. Otherwise it will just spread and eat everything under the coating.

Ordered new front bumper, rear bumper molding(already got the front pieces), front arrowhead badge, spacers should be shipped today or monday, 6 MF towels, steering wheel inlay, and made a payment. Early christmas for my ass.
