Lol, no. I just like the e46 and always have liked these cars. My Ga will be up for sale in September and if it doesn't sell really fast than I'm just going to trade it in at the dealership and get myself a new toy.

Me a BMW tool... not happening.

I'm just not against BMW's like some other people out there.

They're solid cars, my dad has a 325xi and a 328xi..both drive great (altho the 325 has more turbo lag)..I almost bought the 325 off of him, but then I had that whole unexpected career change thing this last year.

And IMO, the only tools are the ones who have to label all drivers of one type of car as being the same. Because lord knows, stereotypes are ALWAYS accurate.

I like the looks of the e46, it's powerful enough for me, and I want something that looks nice along with being affordable and that has a good amount of potential. I'm not buying it because it's a BMW, I'm going to buy one because I like this specific car in general.

If you really want a new car you probably would seriously consider trading in the GA. Thats how I feel about it anyways.

Also I look at it like if I trade it in than I have more money upfront for the new car so that I can get it easily and have some extra money to start working on my new project.

And like I've said, would mop the floor on the track maybe even drag from factory on 90% of the modified cars on this site. People would probably say that isn't saying much but still

My friend was against and thought it was blasphemy that I wanted a Fiesta ST. Then after the movies I took him to the dealership and had him sit in it and drive it then he ate his words and pulled a 180, he loved it.

Yeah, they did a video on a Fiesta ST vs. E46 M3 on a canyon road and the M3 was struggling to keep up.

You still would want to be patient and sell it to someone else rather then a dealership. Selling it to a dealership to make quick cash upfront in a way is not being patient. If you sell to a private party then you will have even MORE money upfront then a dealer.

W.e, I'm not going to get into another pitter patter brawl over something that has to deal with the "don't knock it till you try it" theory behind it.

Bimmers are marvelous machines, but a Bimmer costs what a Bimmer costs. Phrased another way, if you can't afford to pay high retail for a nice BMW, you can't afford to fix a 'cheap' BMW.

Hoard cash for a few months, buy the 3 and keep the Pontiac to drive during the months when saving cash to fix the BMW.
