You think thats steep? Stick to a used civic then lmao. You won't get the same fun out of it.

I'm sure reliability is good, I scour the FiST forums and the engines can handle really good tunes and stages before you would really need to do any MAJOR internal work. No note of anybody having it die on them. The car hasn't been in the US for that long. With all the BS about brands aside I'm sure it will be a reliable engine.

BTW 2014 Civic Si's start at the same damn price. With how much you say you've been "looking" into some of these you finally then notice the price and back away, if you don't know the prices yet you never looked into anything

Also I picked up a GT muffler for $50. Just have to polish it and weld it on.

Well I just got the car back to my house. Here are the results.

Leaking rear gasket leaking and will need to be replaced (didn't need to open it up) and will be buying 4.10 gears. Thinking about going with Motive.

Oil pan gasket is leaking clear as day, still not sure when I'll about replacing that one.

Found power steering fluid ALL OVER the place. But when Brad repaired my freeze plug, he spilled a lot of fluid removing the reservoir. I'll get that all cleaned up and see if it's just from the spill, or actually leaking.

The actual problem, was easily Identified in good light. Took the passenger side wheels off again, and noticed the bend in the front wheel had gotten worse from when I put them on initially. tried to balance the wheel, and after a few turns it was obvious the wheels was bent to hell. So I'll be trying to find a shop that might be able to fix the wheel. I don't want to replace it, because it's impossible to find the OEM competition gray wheels.

So the paint correction will have to wait until winter at this point. But new wheel and gears are at the top of the list.

Oh I've knows, but **** me even the AC is leaking. I had a good chuckle with the mechanics about it. They loved the job we did on the brakes, and loved the fact that it lived up to their leaky name.

Yup. They are good motors. But once gaskets go out it basically cries fluids. Lol

Provided a wheel tech can correct the taco'd wheel, that's much better news than a mangled driveline; glad to hear good news for a change.

Thank, small miracles I guess. The wheels doesn't seem bad. Problem enlies that gas to just drive or ship it to the closest reputable shop it the same price as a new wheel. But I can't find an OEM wheel. I would be taking a gamble just to try and have it fixed. This situation sucks, but could be worse.

Thought about buying a new OEM 18 in silver and having it painted like the others. Butbit would be more than the cost of fixing my current wheel. I'm in a pickle.

Talk to these guys...
http://www.weldcraftwheels.com/

They only charged my $75 to fix a couple cracks and bend in my 18" 077. The wheel came back 100% balanced and true. They only needed to add a wheel weight to balance the valve stem that is how perfect the guy was.

So the dealership gave me a bug f*** you and sold it this morning. Found a 2012 gray with 21k miles. Not a coupe though but really clean looking. Good price on it too.

I agree with Mac. Black rims look awesome.

Did you ever swap out your brakes to disc ones? I would get rid of the drums if they're still there.
