Mine's from condensation build up inside my portable garage... I'd love to have an actual garage to store the car... I'd even be happy to find a cheap enclosed trailer to use...

When people ask why I do so much to my car, what do I reply to them with? I mean compared to you guys I do nothing to my car. I only do little things. But everyone says that my car is "just fine" and that I shouldn't even put any time or money into it besides gas.

EDIT: some of them are my family. So no "fck off's".

Car parts are cheap and legal to purchase, drugs aren't. So car parts it is.

If its a girl be like. You look fine without makeup but you put it on anyway because you like to do so and it makes you look prettier. I make my car look good because I like to do it

Well your family might be trying to tell you to save up time and money because you need it for the real world. Your 15, i mean i dont know what bills and sht are like for you maybe you got a house already. My family said the same thing, because they didnt want to see me strugle like they had to and burn all my money on cars that are meant to do one thing (drive). In their mind maybe the only thing they want to see you mod, is a piece of paper using a crayola pen. So drive your car the way it is, and put that piece of paper on your dash and dream.

Prioritys vs desires. Thats cart before the horse buddy. Do your life in the right order. And maybe you will reap the benefits of your hard work.

Nothing wrong with a hobby. But don't let it take control. So you tell these people i'm budgeting my money responsibly, and spending a small portion of that on my hobby.

We are all wrong actually. I believe that we are just suppose to say "hater" until people get annoyed and give up.

The point of that was to ask you guys what I should say to my parents to let me get a different radio that works (I'm buying it myself).

They literally said when I got the car to save up for when something goes wrong on it. Now something did. And they won't let me fix it.

They probably meant something wrong as in mechanical. They probably think the radio isn't necessary and you should just drive around with no music.

But of course I can tell you, as someone who has had to drive work vehicles without radios all day.... driving around in silence for too long will driving you f**kin' crazy!

I drove from Chicago to Seattle without a radio and once I got half way through North Dakota I was practically asleep from boredom.
