Alt is ground through engine so you wasted wire by going alt to battery ground.
Also because of your dam wheels I'm looking at spacers for mine

I love these old cars. I am not sure what year it is, but it is in better condition than my 12 year newer car.

I believe this one has been garage kept. Interior is flawless. Thinking about buying as a winter car, or a project car.

pretty safe bet it's been maintained. EP-mobile. And if it's still driving after all these years, then I'd buy it in a heartbeat, it's a safe bet in my book

My pops had a 1986 Olds Ninety-Eight, same thing as one of these. They're rather bulletproof for what they are.

Temped..... Very tempted.... It WOULD be a fun project car with my grandpa... I wonder if I have enough money? I have about $1000-1500. Enough do you think?

To each their own, but I would put money into it. Especially as a project car.

Don't understand peoples mindset when they see "unique" cars like that on the side of the road for sale and immediately want to buy it out of impulse then it just sits around for many more years and eventually sold off as a failed project.

I don't understand the mindset of youngins who have all the flashy stuff and don't use it like most other youngins with flashy things use it...

I don't know what you could possibly do to make it a fun project to be honest. Looks like an even bigger (more than usual project) money pit with a bunch if hard to find OEM parts.
