all the strut braces i found use two mounting bolts so which ever side the two bolts is on is the one you want.. it's been awhile since i have been in the trunk of a GA

The Next Level/Speedbuilt ones had a round bracket that went all the way around and used all three bolts. That's the one I have. The front bar only used two though.

Dude. One nut per side in the trunk. Two nuts per side in the wheel well. Total of three nuts per side. Considering the fact that I'm mounting the stb in the trunk and not in the wheel wells (laugh) I need aditional nuts to mount it. I don't know why you would have three nuts per side in the trunk.

Aaron. Thanks man. I originally was wondering about the thread pattern of the studs so I could get the correct nuts.

One nut per side in the trunk... two bolts per side in the wheel well. The bolts go through from the bottom into body nuts that are welded to the sheet metal in the trunk on top of the strut tower, so you need 2-3 nuts per side in the trunk (depending on bracket design) to clamp the bracket down to those.

Finally starting to get rid of that chrome!
![]() Still debating the best way to about the front bumper. Not sure if I should wrap the chrome in white. Or if it would be better for me to shell out for a sport bumper conversion. Also not sure if I should just paint the chrome grill bars black, or find some honey comb. Personally I think the honey comb will be the final results. But at least the chrome bars match the bumpers for now. |

Idk man, I am one of the few left that think a truck needs a metal bumper. I also think that looks pretty good as is.
Overall, how are you liking that? I've been looking at the couple year old Rams, thinking about trading ol' rusty in

I love my truck, next time I upgrade I'm sure I'll buy another dodge. I love the quality of my truck. Definitely get a crew cab. I'm thinking I'll get my front bumper wrapped so I can still have a sturdy metal bumper up front.

i'd say either wrap yours or get it powder coated.. |

Some people love it, some hate it. It's definitely getting put through the paces and they are finding the weak points. I would definitely hold off for a few years at this point for what I've seen on the forums.
