It's been a while. Saw a really clean lowered GT the other day and it brought back good memories. This is what I am driving these days and I LOVE it.

Sold it and ordered a 2016 2SS... waited 3 1/2 months for the car to be built and while it was on its way to the dealership I was informed they would no longer honor the pricing we had initially agreed upon. After bickering with them for a few days I jumped ship and bought my Challenger. In the end I am very glad I did, after the Camaro finally started hitting the lots I went and sat in one and it is TINY. Beautiful car but the Camaro is no longer a muscle car, and that's what I wanted. Hit the dyno a few weeks ago with my challenger and it made 441whp and 446wtq. I was pretty happy with that.

Checked the dealers website a few days ago and the Camaro I special ordered is still sitting on their showroom floor 5 months later. Serves them right

I hate when dealers do that. But atleast you like what you have now. I like the challangers. But i love the chargers alot more! The scat pack and hellcats in that special pretty blue looks super sexy! But i like the body style of the charger more just because it has more curves.

On a side note; i was looking at newer camaros as well and was debating a 13' but not the latest and greatest for one reason.... (I actually bought a bmw s1000rr over a car, anyway...) Electronic e brakes... Gotta have the rip stick. The electrical brake is to iffy for me, and i feel if it failed the car could be stuck in place. Ive had a subaru ebrake (electronic) lock up when applied and wouldnt disengage. You have to use a special tool to break this thing to manually undo the ebrake system, then pay money to have the part fixed because when you manually do it something breaks in the system (just how its made) and has to be replaced. I just dont like the feature. Cable is better imo.

But mmmmmmmm! Dont get me wrong the challangers look pretty good, im just a charger guy. Always have been. 2 door, 4 door, i dont care. Still love em

I'm not a charger fan. Challenger all the way, the old chargers were nice enough, but the new ones are too weird looking IMO

I like the new chargers.... also think it looks better than the challenger, though I like those too. Only problem with them... the platform is getting old. They need to updated the chassis an interior, and shed some weight.

Reason the Camaro seems small... well, they did cut several hundred pounds out of it from the last car, and made major interior improvements at the same time. And it can handle. Most people don't really want a pure muscle car anymore. They want something that can stop and handle as well as it goes in a straight line, and GM has made an excellent handling car. Chrysler can't say that. They have to keep the size in line to compete with the Mustang too.

To be fair, there isn't really many things FCA can say they do well besides drop huge motors in old platforms and sell Jeeps. Exaggerating a bit because I really do like the styling of several of their models. But it will be interesting to see who they try to merge with going forwards. Its all Sergio wants to talk about.

They are currently the only OEM of the top 11 that make up over 90% of US sales that haven't announced any type of investment into autonomous vehicle technology. Their whole strategy seems very shortsighted. Buying CAFE credits so they can sell more Jeeps and Trucks in the short term, but 10 years from now they're going to be even further behind on technology and ****ed by regulations.
