18" Sub

Just wondering if anyone knows if it is even possible to put an 18 in the trunk of a 2003 or 2006 Grand Am. Thanks!

Why would you??? You can get great sound out of 12" or a pair of 12"

Also 18' + box lots of extra weight

I would run 12's all day over anything else. You get the best all around bass from 12's. You get the clean low's and deep bass. I ran 12's in everything I built and I ran competitions for years.

Um there is no such thing as a 2006 grand am. U either mean 2005 grand am or a 2006 g6 which was the grand ams replacement.

yes. build box into car first. sub would likely be angled more upward. it would also help displace the weight of it in that position.

i dont think its a good idea, unless u plan on heavy deadening in the vehicle. 18 to go hard.. g.a. just aint hard.

lulz i run 2 15's in a ported box and it took HEAVY modification of the trunk opening behind the seats to get that box in there. and i dont even use them anymore they just chill in there. 12's are the way to go in GA's tho anything beyond that IMO is overkill. an 18 is a death sentence for the car and so not worth it.
