Recent hard starting......

2000 GT .....fuel pressure regulator was leaking several months ago and I replaced it. Recently, car is starting hard only when cold (cranks for 4 seconds and then starts on second or third try); otherwise, if warm it starts right up and always runs/idles just fine and no changes in average mileage. I discovered that if I cycle the key several times for a couple seconds each, it will start fine when cold. Is this a leaking injector or failing fuel pump? Thanks
