well good news and some bad news.

good news being that my amp got delivered today.

bad news being I won't be able to paint it with out it looking bad. the "ALPINE" isn't raised enough and letters are to close, covered it with painters tape and tried to cut out the letters, being so small and close the tape came up where it shouldn't. also the same for the "XPOWER" isn't recessed enough so couldn't get clean cut lines.

then for my paint idea I was gunna do the small lines well ya again they small or not really shaped right so I feel if I painted them it would just look bad...

looks like the amp stays all black

plasti dip everything that is not a heatsink surface. it looks like most of the stuff, other than the plate with the blue LED, is plastic in the pic.

so instead of little green accents, go frigging crazy with it

There a guy I know that custom paints heat sinks. He's not cheap but he does great work. Let me know if you want his info.

You should see some of his work...you'd want more than just what you have planned if you saw what he's capable of.

Yes I am. I've driven through helmet. I go to San bernadino for work about once a week. I know that not exactly where hemet is, but I think it's in that direction from me.

Naw I wasn't saying I drive through it when I go to San Bernardino but I've been to hemet. My parents lived in Indio, and my dad's first boss lived in hemet, so when we went to visit him years ago I was there.

I was just saying that I'm out in that direction sometimes. Where I go in San Bernardino is off the 210 by the 215.

Yea I used to go to the junk yards there. Never seen a car that was of any use for me out there. It was only late 80s and early 90s cars back when I was going picking out there.

Trust me, I'd never be out there either if I didn't have to do it for work.

Very cool. I like that Knu offers those unique colors but isn't it CCA rather than OFC? The only power wire that I prefer is pure copper, which costs an arm and a leg now.

Edit: I see that they now offer it in OFC...that's badass.
