Black SC/T Spoiler with Trunklid

This is on eBay, I am NOT the seller and I hate people posting eBay sales (in case someone on the site is watching the item, don't share it if they were looking for it), but this just popped up 2 hours ago so I don't think I'm hurting anyone, plus a tad pricy with shipping :/

http://bit.ly/UuRjMf

*edit* - yes I'm aware that is an Audi trunk in the image but in the description is the real part / pics.

You're in the ballpark, you didn't get ripped off any, it's pretty difficult *AHEM* to find them under 100 honestly.

(KZ is a buttpipe, refer to the *AHEM* )

Got my SC/T spoiler for $25 and SC/T hood for $175. They had to be painted of course. Spoiler was already red but was scratched a little bit.

Wow, hell of a deal. My spoiler is black unfortunately. I bought the sc/t hood a few years ago already red but a very small piece of the driver side corner was busted off. I didn't know that until I opened the box. Paid a lot for it too. How much do you think a body shop would charge to paint the spoiler?

Sweet I'm glad you were able to get it! I found one on eBay a few weeks ago for $100 shipped, I'm just waiting for the snow to melt so I can install it! But you did very well $125 is about the average price from about anyone selling theirs on this site IMO.

Well I finally got the old spoiler off! What pain in the ass. Any way, what is a good recommendation to use as gaskets from any of you that have swapped spoilers. I would like to stay away from the double sided tape if I can. I will use it if that is the consensus though. Place to buy as well please. Thanks

It's a salvage yard and they do not have the car anymore. They have tons of parts though. Can anybody answer my question? I want to finish this thing tomorrow.

New 3M tape is really the way to go. Seals up nice and gives the tiny bolts some help in holding it down. I wouldn't try to make a gasket, but if so, medium (soft compound) sheet of rubber, just trace and cut the shape I suppose.

Thank you, I hate ebay. I guess I better learn if I want good deals and access to lots of parts. Which I will need soon i'm sure.

Well I haven't gotten the spoiler painted yet. $125 locally. It does not look bad black on a red car though. So it's on for now anyway. I would like to get the body kit to match the hood and spoiler but I don't feel like paying 1000 bucks for the kit, shipping and paint. Any one know of a good deal?

Would you mind posting a pic? I've always wondered how that would look I see mustangs all the time with the red body black spoiler and it looks good, curious how it looks on the GA.
