Well like I said it wasn't the owner it was a buddy of ours who wrecked it. But the cause was a pothole and his fault, but the car is all fiberglass pretty much. They can't take to much of an accident compared to most cars is what I'm saying. I mean where the pole hit it was basically pushed into the firewall, and those noses are long.

I'm just telling tip to be careful is all.

I am definitely being careful with car. I went to get get temp tags this morning. While leaving, I broke the tires loose going into traffic because I was tired of waiting. She definitely has power still

Here are some pictues.

****ty ass planet audio unit, I despise this thing.

Rear leathers, in great shape.

Rear plastics, again in good shape.

Had some kid over on ls1tech tell me it was a v6 with ws6 appearance. Dip****.

And the original window sticker. Going to get this thing laminated to keep it in good shape.

Good stuff man. You can clear the panel between the two tails with the headlight restore kits. Makes it a beautiful polished black. In place of the faded bird and pink Trans Am now. Pretty clean under the hood! No traction control option. Looks like the e-brake needs tightened since it should not pull up that far. Really clean for the miles though it appears.

Wow, you weren't kidding about that stereo...

Put a factory unit with nav screen in there.

I'll be sure into looking into cleaning the panel. It needs a good detail and a paint correction would amazing. But I don't want to drop that kind of money. The ebrake definitely needs to be adjusted, that was the first thing I noticed when I saw the car. Even before the m6 . Thankfully it still grips hard.

I am leaning towards a good classic alpine unit. The cda-9856, its a great solid unit. This car needs no screen or any sort .

There are no damn radio stations around here, but the engine makes a very sweet symphony so music is a pretty low concern of mine . Window motors will be in friday and tire should be in saturday. Just needs to warm up so I can take the tops off and put the windows down and find some fun back roads.

But ofcourse, I have a test monday and a test tuesday, so I probably won't be out and about too much. I can't tell you guys how much fun this car is to drive. When I get out of my meeting this evening, I'll try to get a sound clip.

Maybe the body can't take a hit like most cars but the underlying structure is still solid and what really matters in an accident. If it was mostly fiberglass it would have never been on the road in the first place.

The rear quarters are metal. The headlight covers are metal, and the hood has metal braces in it. Otherwise, the "sheetmetal" is all a fiberglass skin with poly bumpers and Lexan tops. From behind the doors to the tails are metal though. You can actually see the weld point in the door jams.

On a side note, hitting a pot hole at WOT with a loss of control and hitting a phone poll does not make the car unsafe. If they were able to walk away when that happened, that is what makes the car safe!

That is what most people don't understand. There is a sub-frame at the front (the K member). From there to the rear its unibody. There is no body sitting on bushings to lift off of a frame like a sedan. The sub frame connectors tie the sub frames together better. This means with a head on wreck, the front will collapse and the engine will end up under the car and not crush your lap. The frame will slide under the car and not bow up. Making it safer all around. When you add sub frame connectors, it makes the body stiffer, but could also cause some serious injury if it hinders the factory design.

Nice addition to the stable. You will really enjoy the versatility of the LS1 and t56.

If i were you, I would convert the interior to ebony as it usually makes the interior look cleaner.

why did the person on tech think it was a v6 with ws6 parts? i didnt see the thread but some of the guys can be pretty stupid on there.

That would be a hell of a civic.

The guy pm'd me that it was a v6 car and I was a troll. I have a thread in the Trans am sub forum. Been looking through threads and it looks like the MGW shifter is the best to go with.
